Recent rumours have started suggesting that one of these 3 players will join Chelsea this summer. Now, it’s time to look at the possibilities of which player could actually join the club.
Edinson Cavani
The player was linked with Chelsea last year where we were told to pay at least 50 million for him but since PSG paid 10 million which Napoli wanted, Cavani moved to PSG last summer. So far, there has been rumours that his agent is in london for business but I don’t his agent came to negotiate a deal or anything. Cavani signed a 5 year contract with PSG and the deal doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon. Therefore, I give the probability of Cavani coming to Chelsea 1 out of 10.
Diego Costa
Now, you already know how well he has been playing this season and how the rumour came he had came to an agreement to sign for us in the summer during the transfer window. This deal looks most likely to happen in the summer, out of the other two. Costa is only 25 ( to be 26 in October), he is the youngest out of the three(Cavani will be 27 years old in 7 days and Mandzukic will be 28 years old on May). He would fit right into Jose’s plan and I don’t see why this deal not happening. Therefore, I give the probability of Costa joining Chelsea in the summer 8 out of 10.
Mario Mandzukic
A rather weird one, the rumour started coming in January when report suggested he was not happy with the game time he was getting under Guardiola. Mario is the oldest of this bunch and has managed to score 11 times this season in the league in 18 appearances. There is really not much to say about this, except for if this deal goes by, it would not be a bad option to get him.
Therefore, I give the probability of Mario to Chelsea 5 out of 10.

He is really good, I hope we buy him Diego Costa. He is a top class player I think we have a possibility of buying him this summer. I think we will have a very difficult team to beat with him leading the attack. Finally someone who can score more goals will be able to score goals for us. My verdict is Diego Costa. There is a likely he will fit into our style of play too.
Costa + Mandzukic + Torres + Suchrrule. The cost of both strikers are relatively cheap. Competetion wl change Torres like Ibrahimovich. Suchrrule can play in both positions so he increases no of players in z squad; if he is in z squad don’t forget to count him twice as a FW and MF. This yr including him blue has 4 strikers not 3.
