Match Preview: Chelsea v Swansea

hazard

All eyes will be on Mark Clattenburg at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as the referee takes charge of a Chelsea match for the first time since October’s extraordinary ‘racism’ row with John Obi Mikel.

Having been cleared of any wrongdoing, the official will be desperate for a controversy-free game and certainly not a repeat of the outcome of the last Chelsea-Swansea match which saw Eden Hazard “kick” a ball boy.

Team News:

Ba is ineligible for European competition and is set to replace Fernando Torres, who started the Europa League semi-final first leg at Basle, while Eden Hazard is in line to face the Swans again after being sent off for kicking a ball boy during February’s Capital One Cup semi-final between the teams.

Gary Cahill was an unused substitute in the win in Switzerland and could start in defence following his six-week absence with a knee injury, with Oriol Romeu (knee) the only definite absentee.

Meanwhile, Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has a fully-fit squad to select from.

Neil Taylor could again be on the bench after returning from an eight-month absence from the matchday squad against Southampton last weekend.

Laudrup may once again look to move Michu into the centre-forward position after withdrawing Luke Moore at half-time against the Saints, while Wayne Routledge may also be in line for a recall.

Stat:

Chelsea have only won 1 of their past 5 matches against Swansea in all competitions.

Betting:

Home 4-11, Away 7-1, Draw 4-1.

Prediction:

2-0 Chelsea.

  2. I have seen many useful thgins on your website about pcs. However, I have got the thoughts and opinions that lap tops are still not quite powerful more than enough to be a good selection if you normally do thgins that require loads of power, such as video editing and enhancing. But for net surfing, word processing, and the majority of other common computer functions they are just fine, provided you can’t mind the tiny screen size. Many thanks sharing your notions.
