Just A Scenario #3 (Frank’s Future)

Its the end of 2012-13 season, and Chelsea has offered Frank Lampard a new contract with massive wage cut. Frankie has 6 different options now:
1) Chelsea FC, 60k per week, no guarantee of permanent start/squad rotation player
2) Fiorentina, 90k per week, captain status,Vital player
3) Psg, 130k per week, important player
4) Man Utd, 100k per week, important player
5) LA Galaxy, 150k per week, vital player
6) Anzhi, 180k per week, captain status, Vital player
You are Frank Lampard’s agent, and are now entitled to advice your client into making a decision for his career. It must not be a single angled decision, and Frank has requested you to give a valid reason whatever your choice would be.

NOTE: VITAL PLAYER > IMPORTANT PLAYER > SQUAD ROTATION PLAYER

The Idea of ‘Just A Scenario(JAS)’ is that you will be presented with a hypothetical situation or a role that you could picture yourself in, and we would love to hear what you would do so as to get through the situation in the best possible way.
Your opinions and ideas are valuable to us, and we’ll love to see this section grow as much as it can.

  1. Chelsea doesn’t treat him as good as he deserves to be treated..let’s face it here.. Now as his agent..I’d say atleast stay because of the promise he made but for his own good..I suggest he leaves..but go to another league…I’m sure he’d always get to start plus his salary would be higher than what he’s getting at Chelsea, atleast Go to LA Galaxy..

  2. After breaking the record and the possibility of wining europa cup i’d recommend he leaves on a high.

LA is the club i will advice in terms of money to frank, also the fan’s wont turn aginst him even if left 4 LA instead of joining the like manU, psg etc.
But as i know him very well as a person i will consider the staying at chelsea as that is what his mother wished 4 him to do to retire in the BLUE!!

  4. His has broken the goal record at Chelsea and thats why i’d advice him to go and play for Anzhi to get more money and be a vital player. He would also possibly play with them in the UCL, so both in footballing and financial terms i’d suggest, advice and insist he goes to Anzhi.

    • Insightful article. I’m ieiwklse a bit baffled that more B2B marketers haven’t jumped into social media in any meaningful way.I find it especially ironic that anyone would contend that It’s too difficult to prove ROI with social media. The majority of tweets out there are laden with URLs that are shortened using tools like tinyurl or bit.ly. Some of these services provide not only redirecting but also track clicks and provide analytics so you can see engagement in realtime (even in a re-tweet). Blogposts are also filled with re-direct enabled URLs. Social media is one of the most measurable of all marketing channels.Eventually marketing organizations want to tie this information into the rest of their marketing database so they will then upgrade from a bit.ly or tinyurl to a marketing automation solution to associate this data with other click-data, email-data, web-form data, etc.The premise that It’s too difficult to prove ROI with social media. has it partly right though. It’s hard to prove ROI on any marketing activity b/c you never know how much of the credit to assign to a given campaign or effort over another. However, social media ROI is more measurable than most other forms.Matthew QuinlanVP, Field OperationsLoopFuse, Inc.

    • I think it is a very important deabte, Sean.I think the game can own a shared responsibility for integrity. I think there is a great opportunity for goal-line officials which means all levels of the sport can afford to adjudicate on goals and accept the fallibility of the human eye-brain system.

    • L’ho ctomrapo, l’ho ctomrapo! Consigliato a tutti. Grazie per la lettura: djmario

    • I think BR got his team selection right. He fileedd a strong team at Anfield against an in form Anzhi side. Although the league should be the top priority for us, its always good to win silverware and as Liverpool football club, we go into every competition with the mentality to win. We might not win it, but we have the determination to do well in every competition. At the end of the day, it was a good and positive day. We defeated Anzhi at home with a clean sheet and now we are top of the table. We can now look forward to the merseyside derby on sunday without having to worry about qualification to the knock out stages of the europa league. Furthermore, by fielding a strong side, yes it might take a toll on their fitness on sunday, but it is a morale boosting win and we were playing at home(luckily) and so it makes things a little easier for us. However, BR did not field a strong side without caution. The fact that the likes of Joe Allen, Raheem Sterling, Enrique, Suso and Henderson did not fully feature in this match suggest that he have also got an eye on the merseyside derby on sunday. Would have like Coates to have played though. But with Skrtel and Agger finally improving in form and keeping clean sheets, its wise not to disrupt the partnership. I reckon Coates is a definite starter against Swansea in the capital one cup. Nice victory today. The only worry being Glen Johnson. Hopefully he isnt injured and is fit for Sunday. Roll on Everton! 6. Frank should just go to ANZHI,he work now is time to enjoy. That is if chelsea can treat him better than that.

  7. freaky.timo

I wld suggest him to stay at chelsea he has a pay cut bt ot wll ensure many things
1 he and jhis family wont neex to move and adapt to change which cnt be garanteed
    2) he gets to retire at a club he loves
    3) he is old and hasnt got many years of service in him so going to other club as vital player will need to play on daily basis exhausting and age makes a player injury prone if he gets one and is out of form da supporters wont see dat he is a legend at chelsea bt jst a normal player dey payed lot fr
    bt cnt perform lyk nand

  8. Sammy chelsea mwaura

If i were him i would go to LA galaxy but coz am not lampard then am advising him to stay at chelsea for 1 year

He broke the record and Chelsea didn’t treat him very well. So as his agent I’d tell him to move to the States: good salary and new experience. Anyway, great player, great man!

I thought he should stay at Chelsea. 1st, Lampard was one of the high-earner at Chelsea years ago so even though he received wage cut, I don’t think that will really trouble him. And 2nd, he loved Chelsea and has been with the club through its sweet and bitter times and will be more than happy to stay. 3rd, Lampard is aging so I don’t think he can be a vital player at other club especially outside England where he spent most of his club career, since it will take time to settle and with his advancing age that will be not easy for him. 4th, he can taught his skills and pass his experiences to younger players at Chelsea and last but not least, every Chelsea fans in the world want to see him end his career here at Stamford Bridge and with 2nd point on mind, I think Lampard want it too.
And I agree with @freaky.timo points too.

  12. It’s in fact very complicated in this active life to listen news on Television, therefore I
just use web for that purpose, and obtain
    the most recent information.

  13. I visit each day a few websites and blogs
to read articles, except this webpage presents quality based content.

  14. Like many issues in the universe viruses have started to adapt to
the world around them. She watches a boxing match so
she can speak about it with you. You don’t
have to verify your brains at the door.

  15. As the admin of this web site is working, no doubt very quickly it
will be well-known, due to its quality contents.

  16. This piece off writing presents cear idea iin support off the new people of blogging,
that really how to do blogging.

  17. If it doesn’t, pull out the manual, and check to see if there’s anything else that you need to do.
When it comes to accessories like this, the old advice “you get what you pay for” applies.
It is a phony citation that you can use to play a joke on someone.

  18. You really make it seem really easy along with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be actually one thing which I
thimk I would by no means understand. It seems too complex and very wide for
me. I’m taking a look forward in your next publish,
Iwill attempt to get the cling of it!

  19. I’ve been browsing online more than 3 hours
today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers
made good content as you did, the internet will be a
lot more useful than ever before.
