Cavani is an absolute beast. In all competitions for Napoli last year, he scored 40 goals and added five assists. It’s the third straight season in which he’s scored at least 33 goals for the club. He would finally give us a true target atop the attack, something Torres failed to do, as he would simply disappear in games. Demba Ba never really made his mark for the team, either.
Just imagine adding Cavani in front of our sparkling trio of Hazard, Mata and Oscar, which contributed a combined 53 goals and assists last season. It’s a scary proposition for the rest of the league. Cavani is basically the kind of striker we need.
He has alot of strengths like his amazing aerial ability, technique, pace, finishing along with his versatility – Along with all of the qualities he brings in his natural central position, Cavani can also move to a wider role to accommodate Fernando Torres, Demba Ba or Romelu Lukaku.
After being linked to Chelsea he said:
“The Special One? It would be a pleasure to be managed by someone like him.”
“I don’t know if anyone has made an offer for me but I know that working for a coach like Pellegrini or Mourinho would be a great pleasure.”
“It would certainly be a great honour to join one of the illustrious teams that are looking at me.”

I don’t why we are keeping too long to wrap this deal up. Money should not be our problem because we have the money to do so. Mourinho should get this done we cant lose again like how you lost out on Falcao. If you want the best you have to spend big too.
How are we sure that we are going to get him. Chelsea is always in the habit of making noise & missing out on their target. He’ll be a splendid acquisition, but lets wait, watch and see.
I hope mourinoh will make a deal to sign cavani for he fit to bring back the record of chelsea legend DIDIER DROGBA experience once again for chelsea to be champion come next season.
Torres never showed any seriousness in the club as he was in the reds.he should be sell with Ba and bring in the ideal man ‘CAVANI’for a better futur/chelsea tommorow.Cavani can make blues to be proud again and again like the new manager was at chelsea before went to inter.
