As the season draws to an end. There’s a tinge of disappointment etched in the minds of fans. A season that began with so much promise is ending in an anticlimax.
For me that’s a wrong notion because this season we showed more bite and put in more fight than we have in a long while. Once more it was us against the whole world. I don’t really remember where I got this from but I believe there’s a saying “a drowning man always wants to take another along with him”. That was the case with most of our rivals having failed and seen us grow from strength to strength, kept waiting for us to stumble too. In transition we have shown raw potential albiet a few hiccups which are part of the learning process.
Willian has so far been our signing of the season. Matic comes second and Schurrle a distant third. Azpilicueta for me has been the standout player this season though towards the end his form has dropped but it isn’t easy when you play from a position that isn’t yours in the first place. Hazard has been wonderful but to be the best you have to put in a 110%. Terry rolled back the years, Cahill a formidable partner and Ivanovic a rock.
Next season holds so much promise. With key areas likely to be strengthened and in my opinion we need someone with an eye for the final pass( more like Mata but stronger and faster), a striker or 2 strikers and a leftback. The imminent return of Courtois due to Cech’s injury, the promise of Kalas, the return of Lukaku to stake a claim(despite transfer rumours) and perhaps the return of highscoring Patrick Bamford gives me hope. I am so excited I forgot to mention the likes of Piazon(AM/FW) and Van Aanholt(LB) who have performed exceptionally and might force their way into the first team.
Mourinho has said next season we fight for trophies and I’m holding him to his word. We never lose hope or faith. We always believe. KTBFFH

”Hope” u say, will mou use these young players you mentioned..let me tell u, mou is a mercinery that’s after immediate results, cant build for tomorrow..we got youngsters we can use with the team and prolly buy a few players. Mou will never do that he’ll rather buy the whole universe as players..look at atm that beat us aint worth the price of torres yet play good footie with fluidity etc…
How many coaches came to Chelsea and used those said young players. The players in Atletico Madrid have been playing together for 5 seasons and the only player they sold last season was falcao. They’ve had Simeone as a coach for longer. Stabiltiy is key. If Mourinho shld use the young players we might have to stay longer without a trophy. If u want that then I’ll support u. I said hope because that’s all we can do.

This season was a failure, transitional or not. But not true soccer analyst can blame it on mou. Mou’s soccer was not always the best but to say benitez did a better job? Maybe, maybe not. I remember last season losing the confed cup to corinthians. Newcastle beating us. A league one side brentford almost beating us. Reading coming back from 2-0 to 2-2. Qpr beating us and so on and so forth. Let’s just look forward to the future. We cannot run away from chelsea. We are chelsea and we have one blue blood. There is sth I always say: the only person I trust in cheelsea football club is abrahamovic. He always does what is best for chelsea. And he loves attacking football. So if mou doesn’t deliver attacking football soon, yu can bet abrahamovic is already drafting his sackk letter. Put ur trust in roman, he knows what to do. If he can sack di matteo after winning uefa cos he wasn’t pleased with the way we won it then he can sack ANY coach that doesnnt deliver attacking footie. But for now, let’s give mou a chance. If our footie sucks next season and we don’t win a trophy, I will be the first on this site to abuse his sorry ass. But for now like thiery henry said : GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM. There is a lot to look forward to: costa, lukaku, hazard again, courtois, kalas. We can only hope mou gives youth a chance. My biggest prayer is that terry, cole, lampard and mikel leaves d club. I love all of them but its time to move forward. We shd buy only one first team player this summer and we have already bought him: COSTA. I completely agree with but lemme chip in that we were 14 points behind already last season with senor benitez. That said you have valid points but again I disagree that this season was a failure given that we’re used to instant success it’s easy to see this as a failure. Nothwitstanding Mou knows who he works for but again if Fergie was sacked everytime he finshed trophyless Utd wldnt have the trophies they’ve had in the last 2 decades. Tnx for your input tho

In the beginning of the season cfc were playing attractive football till cfc were beaten by stoke thats when everything changed. I believe Mourinho had to change due lack of worldclass striker. Zyte, you don’t only watch football…. You know what football is….. Whenever i read your comments, i do always feel like been a friend with you… Not just friend…. You always think in every of my ways…. That’s why, i don’t always leave comments when i see your own…. You will make a good coach… Even, you’re a coach in the making.. A potential one…… I always say it and i will not stop saying it… We need solidity in this team, someone with vision, accuracy, fluency, and not auto run machines…. Like Rami and Williams… They are good players for some team and not for us… Hazard is good but he need to be submissive to be successfull…. Schulle is not that good or bad but he is a german that listen to instructions….. Salah needs to play to what we know him for…. Oscar needs gym, he needs strength…and not to be too selfish… Mikel got the solidity but needs to offer more in attack…. Matic is ok but must be consistent… Luiz is good and he is a fine player but not a MF… A Central back that needs to play to instruction or he should leave if not want to play to instruction…. Cahil stability speaks… IVA is solid but is cross must be amended…. Azpi is a robot an ATM type of a player… Now number 9 and co.. They should leave and give room for Costa and Madzuci plus Lukaku….. At left back Ashley as been a good and faithfull servant.. Coaching role at stamford should be a reward.. Felip Luiz should come on in…. And Coutois for Cech place… It’s now ten years that Cech replace Cudicini… He can step aside for the young lad or they do it one match for young lad and another one for old guo….. Next season squad should look like this….. Coutois….. Azpi…. Cahil… Teri….. F. Luiz… Matic …..Oscar……. Salah…… Hazard at 10…….. If possible Lavezi….. Then Costa…… Thanks… Love you all……

@Zyte and Irokotola,it’s spot on!It’s like u guys were reading my mind.As for the season,it’s over already and thank God i’ve been vindicated coz i’ve already mentioned it here that i don’t really expect anything this season i discovered right from the onset that Mou has nothing to offer apart from scattering everything and that’s exactly what he has done!This is what I learnt:
1.Mou has sold our only creative midfielder in Mata to our nearest rival!
2.Mou should have trusted BA the way he trusted Etoo and Torres.
3.It’s time for Cech to step down for Courtois after 10yrs.
4.Ramires was the biggest flop of the season.
4.If Mikel and Lamps played against ATM,it would have been a different story.
5.Lastly,ego is killing Mou,he should stop criticising his player openly!

Aki, you are good. If Mourinho wants his players to be submissive, then he too must be. He talks too much and offers little or nothing. If you have a problem with a player you need not to do it openly. He should be a father figure and not a tyrant. He should also try and learn from other coaches as well.
Do u know what Guardiola did when he came in. He didn’t want to lose his dressing room so he sold the likes of Deco, Ronaldinho Eto, and finally Toure. Mourinho does his job he best way it suits him not the way u want him. U don’t expect him to change overnight. Every coach works how it suits him.
If we look at the some of the coaches that moved to new clubs this season, the best ones won at least one cup for their clubs. Even Moyes won a cup for M. Utd. But Mourinho did nothing but rather sold our sweetheart to our rivals.
You see this mou will add nothing next season….he might lose out the dressing room soon with the way he’s handling player issues..what happened at madrid will soon happen here…i still dont think he’s the right man for cfc

Mour is simple z best best best! His ability to read his club & opponent weakness & strength & his solution to that makes him z only Coach. Look Arsenal & Man city went to Anfield to play what u said attractive game but returned with 5-0 & 3-2 defeate at a very crucial time. Z same fate of Munic in z semifinal. Z role of Garudiola is nill. But z players played good football. Mour is a different coach knows how z opponent comes & hv good solution to that. I like such type of skillful & well experienced coach. We played most games better than z team that plays good football particulaly in our home but this thing was not taken taken as a positive by our Jelious or a few Chelsea player not club fans. To me no coach is comparing with Mour. Mour is simple best. To me football is not simply playing in attractive way. The current jealous word to blame Mour style of playing. The positives are we fought for titles this season instead of fighting for top three last season. We beat all the top teams in the league this season. This was a transitional season no trophy fair enough but ai expect us to be better next season and try to at least win a trophy next season. Negatives we need to clinical strikers next season. We need to take our chances if we want to win the league. We need to improve our game next season. All said and done not bad season either.
