Chelsea’s young wingback Lewis Hall admits he bases his game on Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne.

De Bruyne is a former Blue and Hall, who has tasted first team football this season, says he looks up to Belgian – along with former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.

He said, “I have two that I like to base my game around and that’s Kevin De Bruyne and Frank Lampard. Both of them are very good technically but I also like how they both contribute to the team with goals and assists and how they look so comfortable on the ball.”

Hall also tips U23 teammate Harvey Vale for big things.

He also told chelseafc.com, “One player from the Academy that people should keep an eye out for is Harvey Vale.

“He’s obviously already experienced minutes with the senior team and he’s a very technically gifted player. He works hard and can play in a number of positions too.”
