Player ratings: Clueless Pochettino oversees another defeat, this time a 1-0 loss against Aston Villa

Yet again, poor finishing and mistakes across the pitch have caused Chelsea to fall to defeat, this week, to Aston Villa.

A game with little to no positives to note, and some absolutely shocking performances, in addition to a questionable red card for Malo Gusto.

Robert Sanchez – 7

Despite being partially at fault for the Ollie Watkins goal in the second half, I’m keeping Sanchez at a seven because he was the reason we didn’t find ourselves a goal down at half-time. Again I have no complaints from our goalkeeper today – he isn’t to blame. I’ll tell you what is? Our horrendous ability in front of goal. That’s where today’s frustration is headed.

Malo Gusto – 4

Offered next to nothing in the first half, a really quiet day overall that was topped off by his red card. I would like to add though, what a shocking decision that was from the referee. Gusto got the ball cleanly, but unfortunately was a victim of VAR.

Axel Disasi – 5

One of many average defensive performances today. As we all hoped, I thought he had opened the scoring with his header in the first half, but unfortunately was miles offside after seeing the replay. What didn’t aid his case was the makeshift right back performance after the Gusto sending off, but I’m tired of trying to be fair & partial this week. Average.

Thiago Silva – 4

I’m tired now, of his lack of urgency in build-up play and the nuisance he’s slowly becoming on us as a team. Thiago Silva’s mistake high up the pitch was what led to Aston Villa’s opening goal, and for me, sums up a really rough afternoon for the defender.

Levi Colwill – 5

Let me make it clear, Levi Colwill’s average performances are absolutely not down to his own doing. A centre back that is renowned for his ability on the ball, being played as a left back? Is there any real explanation for this when we have three recognised left backs at the club? No. I feel for him, again being left alone down in the left hand channel and for the position he found himself in for Ollie Watkins’ goal.

Conor Gallagher – 5

Another I just can’t understand again – he starts and plays 90 minutes? Effort can only get you so far and his lack of technical ability yet again is causing us issues in the middle of the pitch. He had a quiet, and below par performance that was somewhat made clearer through the result. Struggling to find a single positive thing to say today.

Moises Caicedo – 6

I’ve not much to point out on Caicedo’s performance today. A strong passing accuracy and five from five long balls completed, however winning only one of six ground duels. He’s struggling to settle, and you can’t blame him when we’re as bad as we are.

Enzo Fernandez – 6

It’s all gone a little quiet for Enzo Fernandez of late after his personal positive start to the season. Again, we all know that he’s currently a player that is by far and away clear of where our current squad is, but even he can only do so much, can’t he?

Raheem Sterling – 3

Genuinely one of the most frustrating performances Sterling has had in a Chelsea shirt, and believe me have there been a few…just over 40 touches of the ball, and less than 20 passes attempted from stats I found – that’s just nowhere near what you expect from someone with his experience. If he starts against Fulham, I’ll have some serious questions.

Nicolas Jackson – 4

Again, poor. A big chance saved by Martinez in the first half and yellow carded again for dissent. It’s starting to feel like we as fans were conned ever so slightly in pre-season, isn’t it?

Mykhailo Mudryk – 7

Arguably our brightest spark outfield and he had a fantastic first half. Jackson’s miss robbed Mudryk of an assist, and he had a few other positive moments before being sacrificed after Gusto’s red card. I saw signs again, little signs, but signs nonetheless. He needs to start at Craven Cottage next week.

Mauricio Pochettino – 4

It may have been only six games, but I’m at the end of my tether with the decisions I’m seeing made by Pochettino. Colwill out wide, Chilwell up high, Gallagher playing deep, and a persistence with Thiago Silva.

These are the issues that are contributing to our downfall and shocking results, and he’s culpable for many of them. Time may well be running out, already.

Ben Chilwell – 4

Came on at a difficult time and missed a huge chance to equalize. Nothing much else to say on Chilwell’s performance.

Lesley Ugochukwu – N/A (didn’t see enough to judge)

Cole Palmer – 6

Palmer did well when he came on, a few bright moments and you could tell he was trying to pull us back into the game. Worth a start soon?

Armando Broja – 5

Again, another who entered the game at a difficult time yet struggled to get too much into it. Little to add on this one too.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with BalkanTrading (https://balkantrading.eu/). This website presents itself as a legitimate distribution house for various products, including sportswear, outerwear, street fashion, clothing, footwear, kitchenware, and jewelry. However, my interactions with this site have left me convinced that it is nothing but a fraudulent operation.

First and foremost, the claim that BalkanTrading was founded in Moldova in 2012 is highly questionable. There is no concrete evidence to support this assertion, and their website lacks transparency about their origins and operations. This lack of transparency immediately raises red flags.

Furthermore, BalkanTrading purports to be a leading distributor of branded apparel in Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and the entire Balkan region. However, their so-called “branded” products are nothing more than counterfeits and low-quality items made in China. I made the mistake of purchasing clothing and footwear from their website, and I was appalled by the quality of the products I received.

The items I received not only looked nothing like the images on their website, but they were also in violation of basic sanitary standards and regulations. It is evident that BalkanTrading has no regard for the health and safety of its customers. The clothing and shoes I received appeared to be poorly made and were certainly not worth the money I paid for them.

In addition to the subpar products, BalkanTrading’s customer service is virtually nonexistent. My attempts to reach out for assistance regarding my order went unanswered, which left me feeling completely abandoned as a customer.

I strongly advise anyone considering shopping on BalkanTrading to steer clear of this fraudulent company. It is clear that their primary goal is to deceive customers by selling counterfeit goods and making false claims about their origins and product quality. This experience has been nothing short of a complete and utter disappointment, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to fall victim to their deceitful practices. Beware and avoid this website at all costs!
