Joao Felix will return to Chelsea after a fee of £45.5m was agreed with Atletico Madrid.
This deal means Conor Gallagher can complete his £35.8m deal to Atletico Madrid the other way.
The deal for Felix came after Samu Omorodion’s deal collapsed to Chelsea over unconfirmed issues.
Felix joined Chelsea on loan in 2023 and played under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.
Mauricio Pochettino was then appointed and decided against signing Felix permanently.
Many fans will be excited to see if Felix can finally live up to his talent and potential.
Felix is still only 24 years old and adds more versatility and depth to Enzo Maresca’s attack.
