Player ratings: Chelsea hit four again in Conference league debut

Chelsea hit four past Belgian league side Gent in the conference league group stage debut.

Player ratings below..

Filip Jorgensen – 6

Above average, not a great deal of work to be done for him tonight and couldn’t have done much for either Gent goal. No complaints.

Renato Veiga – 8

A very well deserved first Chelsea goal, as well as an assist. Impressive throughout the game, especially in the press winning the ball back several times.

Benoit Badiashile – 5

Not sure if it’s just me but I was slightly disappointed with Badiashile tonight. He didn’t appear to be overly convincing and didn’t do much with a lot of conviction. Couple of shaky passes back to Jorgensen. No real concern but just off it for me.

Tosin Adarabioyo – 6

Decent all in all but really poor for the Gent goal, caught ball-watching. Not overly worried about his performance though considering we’ve seen his quality several times in league games.

Axel Disasi – 6

Solid. Thought he led the team well tonight with the captains armband on, nothing all too much to report though.

Cesare Casadei – 6

Nice few points of the game, a tidy little shift all in all with nearly every single one of his passes completed.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 7

His first Chelsea goal and certainly one of his better performances since signing for us in my eyes. Won 75% of his ground duels and completed the majority of his passes, looked dangerous throughout trying to get involved in attacks.

Pedro Neto – 8

Really bright I thought, took a lot of confidence in the aftermath of his goal, which he took really well. I’d look at starting him on Sunday.

Joao Felix – 5

A couple of nice moments here and there but overall a fairly quiet evening I felt for Felix. Again, not at all a concern, just an observation if anything.

Mykhailo Mudryk – 7

Again taken with a pinch of salt with the opposition in mind, but tonight was in my eyes one of Mudryk’s better performances in the last few months. A lovely assist for Veiga and looked confident throughout, trying to make things happen.

Christopher Nkunku – 6

Not really in the game tonight but still managed to come out of the game with a goal. Much needed for him to continue his good run of form.

Enzo Maresca – 6

Job done and no real judgements tonight. It was nice to see a game like this played with a decent level of intensity though, refreshing.
