Chelsea are always in the market for the next best young gems around the World, one of those being 16 year old Brazilian winger Gabriel Mec.
It seemed that the transfer for Mec to join Chelsea in 2026 was going to be completed soon after the Summer transfer window but then all of a sudden, the situation went quiet.
Now, GeGlobo in Brazil report that the transfer has stalled because Chelsea have doubts over some recent performances and want to observe him more technically.
The deal is not dead but nothing will be sealed soon and there is no rush because he would not arrive until 2026 anyway, unlike Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian, who join in 2025.
