Cole Palmer has been diagnosed with a groin strain, reports Kieran Gill in his latest Chelsea Confidential.
Palmer has been battling with what was described as a ‘chronic’ groin injury since the Club World Cup in the summer.
Now, he finally has a diagnosis, and is expected to be out for a number of more weeks.
Palmer though, will not have to have surgery, which will be seen as a major boost to both player and club.
It is thought that Palmer could return sometime in November, ahead of big games that month against Barcelona and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
