Phewwww….. the magic of the carabao cup!!! How on earth did we win that game of football going down to 10 men in the second half?

And how did we looks so relaxed at half time. A mad mad game! We play like that against Spurs and its looking horrible for us.

Jorgensen – 5.5

Played quite well and handled quite a lot thrown at him aerially. A good confidence builder for him to build onto. A terrible 2nd goal to concede though.

Gusto – 7.5

Handled everything thrown at him and got involved quite well with our attacks.

Acheampong – 7

Completely bossed his side once again and was very confident

Tosin – 6.5

Rattled slightly by the physical presence and long balls but ground duels did quite well.

Hato – 6.5

Santos – 8 (MOTM)

A huge moment for Santos with a composed goal on-top of a solid performance. A deserved man of the match performance with his physicality and his passing and took his goal well.

Lavia – 6.5

Was oozing in class first half with some of his press resistance and his passing. Broke up play quite well and put in a solid shift whilst on the pitch.

Estevao – 7.5

Looked a real threat down the right hand side and look like something will happen every time he had the ball on him. A very cool and composed taken goal and proves to show why he is so good for us.

Buonaotte – 6.5

Looked tidy in some parts of the game, but struggled to really create much clear cut opportunities.

Gittens – 7.5

Looked a threat for most of the game and scored the crucial goal at the right time and what a goal. His direct play was influential but looked poor 2nd half.

George- 5.5

Apart from the goal with good movement he didn’t really offer much and struggled to get to the game.

Maresca: 5

Surprised to see George in the starting 11 despite Delap, Pedro and Guiu all being available. But rotation was expected.

I think he took the game to on seriously at halftime and underestimated wolves a little bit, especially in the second half with that terrible performance.

Stupid decision to not control his aggression and let it get out of hand by two yellows.

Managed the game fairly poor and his passing wasn’t great at all.

Made a couple of goal saving blocks and his leadership was needed to get a grip of the team.
