Mixed emotions this evening as Chelsea take a point away from Qarabag in the UCL despite a very good/bad performance overall.

A setback with regards to the qualification stages remains the case with us with a huge game upcoming against Barcelona at home. Lots to think about going into Wolves on Saturday

Sanchez – 6.5

Wasn’t too much at fault for either goal in all honesty so its hard to judge his overall performance where he didnt have to do much

James – 5.5

Look better 2nd half with him being more aggressive in his tackling and supporting of the attack. Not the best from what we expect of him though.

Tosin – 3.5

For his experience, he lacked leadership, commanding ball playing and his tackling was severely rusty. A difficult night overall…

Hato – 4

Swept up at the back a few times but was ultimately at fault mostly for the Qarabag goal.

Curueella- 6

The only one holding the defence together with his leadership and aggression.

Santos- 4

Overrun and outfought in midfield. Struggled to keep up with the intensity of Qarabag’s press overall

Lavia – N/A

Lets hope the injury sustained isn’t too serious.

Estevao – 6.5

A fabulous finish to continue his fine form in the UCL.

Joao Pedro – 6.5

A great assist to set up Estevao! Overall looked good throughout, but needs to take less touches.

Gittens – 2

Created next to nothing for George and didn’t really muster any attacks. Poor overall.

George- 2

Very invisible for that half and also gave away the ball for one of the Qarabag goals.

Maresca: 5

Slightly underestimated Qarabag with the starting 11 and seemed to come up with no answer with Qarabag’s midfield aggression. Half time subs rightly made as some of the performances on show were diabolical

Some positivity in his play and a well taken goal to get us level. Hopefully this is the start of a confidence builder for him.

Caicedo: 6

For his standards didn’t look his usual self bit he wasn’t expected to play with the Lavia injury.

Buonanotte: 5

Some good moments and threaded passes into the forward line.

Delap: 5.5

Looked a handful for the Qarabag defenders and had 1 chance which he should scored but looked offiside

Enzo: 6

Was very much involved with supporting the attack in the second half. Had 1 chance which he swung at and should have done better with.
