Ben Chilwell has joined RC Strasbourg on a permanent deal.

Chilwell was one of a few outcasts that needed to a find a move on deadline.

He has signed a two year deal with the fee currently known. Strasbourg is a part of the BlueCo group that owns Chelsea.

Chelsea failed to find moves for Axel Disasi, David Fofana and Raheem Sterling.

Meanwhile, Tyrique George’s proposed move to Fulham fell through at the last minute.

It is expected George will rejoin the first team squad but the others will not, and could face being in the ‘bomb’ squad until January if they do not accept a move to Turkey, America or Saudi Arabia, where windows remain open longer.
