Chelsea have agreed a deal to hire Glenn Van Der Kraan from Manchester City as part of a revamped academy set up.
The dutchman has informed Man City that he is joining Chelsea, reports David Ornstein from The Athletic.
Van Der Kraan has been hired by Chelsea’s Joe Shields, who knows him from his time in Manchester.
Shields is now looking for an overall head of academy to fill the huge losses of Neil Bath and Jim Fraser.
