Chelsea are in pole position to sign Shaw, with the player being a fan of the club and the training ground in Cobham being close to where his parents live. The rumour came in the guardian where it says that the Manchester clubs could battle it out for him but Chelsea remain favorites. You can read the news here.
Luke Shaw has been linked with Chelsea for a while now and with the increasing doubt over Ashley Cole’s future at Chelsea, the deal could still go on to happen. Cesar Azpilicueta has been flourishing under Jose in both left and right full back position.
The signing of Luke Shaw can prove to be a good move as the player is only 18 years old and has already played in the premier league (Experience). And at the age of 32, Cole could actually leave this summer and move to the MLS.

personally,i would prefer we gave patrick van aanholt and ryan bertrand a chance to battle for the position.luke shaw is a top top talent no doubt but for the amount being touted,its crasy for a teenager who has no international exprience.
