Chelsea are considering making a move for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, according to David Ornstein.

Lopez and Chelsea have been in contact about potential personal terms as the Blues look for an attacking midfielder.

Chelsea have not made any club to club contact yet and are still understood to be chasing Xavi Simons as their first priority.

Talks have been difficult with Leipzig, with no breakthrough yet.
