There have been some reports on the Daily Mirror website which have revealed that Chelsea want the Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney at the Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, after they told the Manchester United to name their price.
Sources close to Chelsea claim Roman Abramovich would be prepared to splash out over £30million for Rooney and match his £250,000-a-week United salary. It is believed Abramovich is determined not to be outbid by Paris Saint-Germain for Rooney and will blow any interest from Arsenal out of the water.
New United manager David Moyes has made Rooney’s future his top priority and will soon speak to the 27-year-old at Old Trafford.
Those talks may well decide whether or not Abramovich gets his man. Jose Mourinho is expected to return to the Blues for a second spell as manager and the Portuguese is a big fan of Wayne Rooney. (Sunday Mirror)
Would you’ll like having Rooney at Chelsea? Let me know. Thanks for reading.

no plz no. we don’t need someone who’s 27. not ronney not cavani nor falcao. sell torres, buy someone young(bony maybe)use lukaku and BA, get a manager and a full back to replace cole and that’s it
I don,t want rooney there are other good player better than rooney that chelsea can bid for.
Buy some one like pita Mponda from Malawi and Kanyenda
any time rooney………..YOU ARE WELCOME!
anywhere i see people talking abt young players…how much more young players.u need? dont we have enough? and experience is required to win tropies, only raw talent cannot do it. the expextation at CFC are high and young players may grind under that. not all people can be mata or hazard. so rooney for me will be a welcome addition.

Yes. I wot him at stamford bridge
It would be gr8 to have rooney. He would provide adequate cover for Mata as well as the striking position.
For the person that said to stop buying players who are 27…uh Drogba was 26 when the club acquired his services and we all know how that turned out.
Rooney is a great player with a wealth of experiences. The only thing we would have to worry about Rooney is his temper. Rooney would also help the club kept the required amount of English players.
Oh also Van Persie is 28 and united just got him^

ROONEY IS A GOOD PLAYER AND EVERY TEAM WOULD LOVE HIS CONTRIBUTION.
