Chelsea look at extend Moises Caicedo contract with pay rise

Chelsea are looking to advance in talks to extend Moises Caicedo’s contract, according to Fabrizio Romano on YouTube.

Caicedo already has a contract until 2031 but Chelsea want to extend his deal and give him a pay rise.

The club took a similar approach with the extensions of Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson last season.

Chelsea are very impressed with Caicedo’s skills, attitude and consistency, and believe he was well worth the £115m paid to Brighton in summer 2024.

Caicedo is already on a hefty wage, but a new deal could take him to around £200,000 a week or potentially even more.

Fabrizio Romano already revealed a few weeks ago that have agreed a deal to extend Marc Cucurella’s deal and fans are now waiting formal confirmation.
