Chelsea man Marko Van Ginkel who is currently on loan in A.C Milan was forced out of his debut match against Empoli which later ended 2-2.
He said: “The joint popped a little. At first I tried to play through but it didn’t feel right. Fortunately my injury is not too bad and I hope to be back in a few weeks.”
The midfielder joined Chelsea last summer from Vitesse Arnhem for £8m. He suffered anterior cruciate ligament injury which lasted for about six months.
He joined Milan this month to play with team mate Fernando Torres and he is on loan because he was looking forward to first team football.
Van Ginkel told Milan Channel:
“AC Milan wanted me for a long time and did everything to get me,”
“That is good for a player to know. We play with two attacking midfielders and a defensive one. I think I am more of an attacking one.
“I think Italian football suits me. Milan is a great club, even though we won’t play in the Champions League this year, so I am fine here.
“Right now I am focused entirely on Milan, but I’m happy with the fact that Chelsea didn’t put an option to buy in the Loan.”
i will always love chealse and the players, coaches, team doctors and everything.blues forever.
