Chelsea want Diego Costa in January

Chelsea are rumored to be interested in signing Diego Costa as they look to strengthen their forward line

According to The Mirror, Chelsea are interested in making a January move for the Brazilian born Diego Costa of Atletico Madrid after they failed to secure the signature of Manchester United forward,  Wayne Rooney in the summer. The 6ft 2in tall Costa has been in fine form for Atletico Madrid as he has so far scored 12 goals in 10 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish club. It is rumoured that Chelsea will have to pay well over £35 million in January to acquire the services of the Brazilian born Spanish forward.
However it might seem unlikely as it remains to be seen if Atletico, who look set to challenge Barcelona and Real Madrid for La liga right to the end of the wire this year, will be willing to sell their star performer in January by making any sort of damage to their title hopes. Also any move for Costa will depend on the performances in next two months of current Chelsea strikers Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba, who all seem to have started to find their feet recently, especially Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o. Afterall, there are still 2 months to go for the winter window, so generally it is still very early to make any bold decision on the winter shopping list. Diego Costa had only signed a new 5 year contract this summer doubling his wages and extending up to 2018, snubbing Liverpool who reportedly offered triple the wages he was earning at Atletico in his old contract which had a €25 million release clause.

I keep seeing this “news” as well. For me, he’s just not that great of a person. He’s always trying to pick fights or getting cards. He has really bad behavior overall. We would barely ever see him play because he’d always be suspended. Can only wonder how long he’d last against more physical teams like Stoke or Man City.

  3. Well to have sex that anybody pose a dish out of touch on football game as I do,
