Christopher Nkunku has been speaking to the French media over this international break after his wonder goal against Israel the other night.
Nkunku was asked about PSG winger Bradley Barcola before being pressed by reporters on if the linkup between him and Barcola could happen at PSG.
Nkunku responded: “I don’t know what to say to that but yes PSG is still a great club, but there have been no approaches, nothing at all”.
It is fair to say that he did not exactly rule anything out and there may be further questions in his own mind over the next months if he does not pick up a starting spot under Maresca.
Currently, Nkunku leads Chelsea’s scoring charts with seven but has still not found a place in the regular starting eleven with Nicolas Jackson preferred up front whilst Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer occupy the advanced eight positions.
He will be a man in demand if he decides that he wants to be a regular starter.
