DIDIER DROGBA says Diego Costa is the striker Chelsea has needed since he left the club two years ago.
The Spanish striker has been on fire since he joined Chelsea. Scoring 7goals in 4 League games showed he is the best striker Chelsea has ever had. Looking at the image above, it took Drogba 18 games, Shevchenko 41 games and Fernando Torres 43 games to score 7 goals.
Drogba said: “Like me, he came to this level a little bit late. When I look at him, I can see the desire to win every challenge, to score goals. He’s very good.
“He’s hungry for goals and that’s the best thing for a team like us.
“I think for him to start the season in England, coming from Spain, which is a very different league, and to recreate the same thing he was doing at Atletico is fantastic.
“He’s really good and he’s enjoying playing here and being with us.
“That’s the best feeling he could have. He’s the striker we needed this season.” He will be the New King of Stamford Bridge.
