End of Transfer: How did we do?

It has been business as usual for two months and with the transfer window coming to and end yesterday, let’s take a look as to how Chelsea Football Club did in the market with signings and sells.

Jose stated last season that we were the little horses in the title race and that we need to be fed milk (aka sign good players) and that’s what Jose did this summer. The signing of Fabregas to fill the gap in the midfield to partner Matic with his amazing vision, signing of a well known clinical striker in the form of Diego Costa, signing a new left back after Cole left the club and signing of a “backup” striker after Torres tenure at Chelsea came to an end and of course, the return of the KING. Everything was done with time and pace, many sports site have rated our business in the market as A+, much better than United’s crazy spending spree.

The signings haven’t taken long to get used the Premier League, Costa is our leading goal scorer in all competitions, Cesc is our top assister in all competitions, Luis has made his debut, although he is mostly benched. Signing of Remy, someone with a lot of pace who knows the league well. It’s all part of the plan as to why we have become the big horses in the race and are now ready to win the title in May.

Some of the biggest legends ever in Chelsea, Lampard and Cole, finally confirmed their departure during the summer, which brought tears and broken hearts into many Chelsea fans. And Jose did well enough to recover a substitute for them. The sale of Ba (a surprising one) was not agreed by many Chelsea fans after his late contributions last season although the striker later stated he wanted to leave. The sell of Fernando Torres, which some fans wished had come a bit earlier, finally brought an end to his difficult life at the Bridge and a new career in Italy (wish him all the best). The departures of our many players showed one thing; Jose is in total charge, not Abramovich.

If you were to rate our transfers this summer, what would you rate it? FEEDBACKS!!!

  4. Mourinho is the Best

“The departures of our many players showed one thing, Jose is in total charge, not Abramovich.” Who take in total charge? I don’t care Abra make the approval or Mou make the decision. I am just thinking we now have a 100% perfect squad and full of world class players. I am very optimistic that we can win at least one big trophy this season.

David Luiz? He left Chelsea too…

  7. Akinwumi Steven

We really had a nice game against Everton but its high time Mou give Felipe Luiz a chance in the team cos Azpi is our greatest weakness in that game and I can’t blame him cos he’s not a natural left back!ktbffh!
