Samuel Eto’o says he could be playing for Paris Saint-Germain if the French club was able to purchase him.
The Cameroon striker joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer but suggests it could have been a different story if the Parisian giants had have been able to come to the party.
Eto’o scored the opening goal in Chelsea’s 6-0 hammering of the Gunners on Saturday before succumbing to a hamstring injury in the first half but was hopeful of being fit for the Champions League quarter-final first leg clash with PSG on April 2.
“I always dreamed of playing at Parc des Princes,” he told beIN Sports.
“Unfortunately, my injury may not allow me to be there. Can I get fit enough? Time will tell. I can’t say anything but I will work to be there.
“I could have played for PSG when Luis Fernandez was the coach. He bought me dinner but the clubs didn’t find an agreement.”
He could have made a hat trick if still in the game
