Fernando Torres expected to be fit for Galatasaray clash next Tuesday

Torres celebration vs Gala

The Spanish striker suffered an injury in the warm up before the Tottenham clash last weekend but his absence didn’t affect the team for the time being as Eto’o scored the opener and played a part in the second goal before making way for Demba Ba who scored two goals let on in the 4-0 victory over our London rivals.

Ahead of our Premier league clash against Aston Villa away this weekend, Fernando Torres may not be fit or risked by Mourinho who will still have Eto’o and Ba to choose from. But, the Spaniard might feature on Tuesday in our Champions League clash with Didier Drogba’s Galatasaray.

It is well in memory that Torres put away a brilliant tap-in goal in the first leg in Istanbul and will be hoping to score in the second leg as well if he is favored by Mourinho to start.

Despite, the selection decisions, it will be a great advantage to have all our three strikers in-form and ready for action game after game as the season goes into the last two months and the crucial stages in both the Premier League and in the Champions League.

It’ll be good to see Torres back in action for our Champions League clash against Galatasaray especially after taking our busy schedule against some great teams into consideration.  Chelsea who have looked strong this season have also been tipped by several betting sites to win the Premier League this time on. Hopefully Torres can be back fresh and fit so we can go on and have the strength in depth needed in our attack to win the League title.
