Chelsea and England star Frank Lampard will be the skipper for England’s game vs Chile at the New Wembley tomorrow. Frank Lampard who earned his 100th cap vs Ukraine will be presented with a golden cap by the FA for his services to the national team.

Lampard will be the stand in skipper for Steven Gerrard who is ruled out for the game with a hip injury but will be back in the team for the game vs Germany on Tuesday.

England will be without the services of Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck as both have withdrawn their names from the side for both the friendlies.

Frank Lampard became the 8th player to reach 100 England caps after he made his debut in 1999 but really burst on the scene in Euro 2004, which was his first tournament as an English international. Since then he has played in the WCs in 2006 and 2010.
