Frank Lampard: What does he need to do?

Frank Lampard: What does he need to do?
Frank Lampard: What does he need to do?

199 Chelsea goals, four off becoming Chelsea’s all time leading goalscorer.3 Premier Leagues, 4 FA Cup’s , 3 league Cup’s , 2 community shields and of course that memorable Champions League is among his many achievements but Roman sill hasn’t given him that all important contract.

Time and time again he’s proved that he’s one of the best midfielders ever to have played the game and he’s broken many record in his illustrious career. He is the best goal-scoring midfielder and has no shortage of assists either! He has 91 assists in the Premier League, that’s the second highest tally in premier league history.

So why on earth hasn’t he been offered a new contract? Football fans around the world are licking their lips with the prospect of Super Frankie Lampard joining their club. Everyone in the world has recognised his tremendous talent and unbelievable ability but it’s still not enough to convince Roman.

He’s already netted 13 goals this season an incredible achievement for any midfielder but for a 34-year-old it just verifies that he is a gem and a unique talent. It would take another 1000 years to witness a player with the same credentials and the same ability that Frank’s got! He really is a Chelsea Legend and he’s a role model for thousands of people.

It’s embarrassing as a fan of Chelsea to see that this world-wide Hero hasn’t been given a new contract. He would easily walk into any team in the world and still he can’t open the eyes of that one person who will decide his future.

Without a shadow of a doubt he is the best England midfielder! I won’t even talk about his outstanding attributes otherwise I would be here all day long. His Mother Pat Lampard said before she died that he Should stay at Chelsea. It’s clear for all to see that not just his blood which is blue it’s his soul. Clear for everyone except Roman Abramovich that is.

I’m sure he will exceed the 202 goals that Bobby Tambling scored and I’m sure that if Chelsea let him go the club will regret it for the rest of its life. I think he still has another three years of quality performances in him.

I really don’t know what he has to do more to earn that contract, every club in the world would’ve made sure that extending his contract was a huge priority. But Chelsea still don’t want to offer him that well-deserved and well-earned contract.

There’s only a few months until his contract ends and time is really running out. Every Chelsea fan in the world hope he will be with the Blues next season and he will once again replicate the amazing form he’s shown these last 10 years.

I still feel disgusted that we haven’t offered him a contract and I pray that he will still be a blue in the summer! I really do hope that he will be a blue for rest of his career but as the end of the season draws ever closer second by second my hope is fading.

Whatever happens he will always be a Chelsea Legend and he always be a blue to the fan! Let me know your thoughts! KTBFFH

  6. Yeah frank might a hero to some but to me, he’s sellfish, only after goal scoring, doesnt know when to pass the ball to a fellow team mate..yestarday’s game, he was give a pass to ba rather he went for the glory and missed..we can only do better when we let lampard go and give youger players the opprtunity in midfeild. that’s the bitter truth

RA’s hiring of FSW had two purposes. 1) To get a top-four finish, 2) To show Chelsea fans that he doesn’t give a **** about them. He’ll let Frankie go just to give the fans the finger once again. The more the fans scream for a new contract for Frank, the more RA will dig his heels in and let him walk. Because its his club and he’s rich.

  12. Abramovic should not let Lampard go.

  13. best to my knowledge lampard is a true blue and has given us the best … he might be given another shot on the contract deal but to my mind we should let him go … he is selfish just after personal glory … rather than for the team…. when paired with mikel or ramires in the midfield he leaves his position to look 4 goals thereby causing the strikers area of operation to be crowded and often causes problem for positional play for torres and likewise leaving ramires or mikel to singlehandedly run the midfield with no support…. he hardly marks nowadats …. and his presence overshadowed the ability and influence of other young players in the team
