Fredy Guarin’s agent Marcelo Ferreyra has confirmed that Chelsea have made a bid for the Inter Milan midfielder and the talks are in advance stages between the two clubs. This is what Guarin’s agent had to say in his radio appearance translated in English:
“Right now I’m in Milan. The interest of Chelsea ‘s official, they are discussing his transfer directly with the Inter . When and if the two parties find an understanding, Fredy and I will start talking with the Blues.”
“In the past few days we also went to London with leaders of Inter to talk with the London club. We want to understand what kind of project they have.”
“There is also interest in Guarin from two clubs in Manchester , but at the moment, there is only one option . Now we are awaiting word from Thohir (Inter’s majority owner), waiting for his decision. Fredy is now focused the (Milan) derby.”
This leaves us with the idea that Chelsea are really interested in the midfielder and would be one of our January signings. Guarin 27, has made sixteen appearance for Inter this season scoring 3 goals with a whoscored.com rating of 7.56.
Guarin is a good passer of the ball, not a great tackler though. He could fit in the midfield if he plays alongside Mikel in the Pivot. Will Guarin be able to solve our problems in the pivot? let us know.
He is nt a bad option anyway, but Jose is the coach, if he feels he can solve dat problem, fine and good. All we want is some one with the blue fire in his vein like the likes of Lele, Drog, Essen of old, Ballack, Iron Malouda, Lamps, Jt, Joe of old, Rico, etc. then let him come

Guarin is 27 not a teenager he is a top player and we where going to sign him before he joined Inter. Instead of Coentrao buy Shaw, Bruma we sold for a reason, Mou doesn’t want to work with Balotelli as he let him down at Inter
I will not ask them to sell mata, but they should sell Luiz, kdb, torres, ba and buy us either benteke, suarez or falcao this january. And plus higuan as league player…. Guarin is good. All those teenager are not ready to be champion even oscar is not as good as hyped.. Buy mature player of atleast 24 years and above that is very strong and creative. Our team is not strong and we lack creativity if mikel and mata are not playing… We play a kind of direct and meaningless football. And don’t forget lewa is 7million this january…….

We have 11 mid filders already, so we need top class striker like cavani,suarez,Costa,Falcao.
What I think is our problem is a striker and not a midfielder. I think we need a complete striker like Lewandowsky or falcao instead of going for a midfielders.
