Bayern Munich are ready to offer £40million for Chelsea defender David Luiz, after Pep Guardiola put out feelers during the Confederation Cup

I found this in the Sun. I really hope he does not leave especially for £40mill. He is so versatile I would rate him at £50million at least. I think Bayern will have to up their bid massively if they want to sign Luiz from us.

Luiz is not pushing to leave Chelsea, but Bayern Munich made contact with the London club over the weekend with a £34.5m bid

I found this in the Daily Telegraph. Luiz isn’t pushing to leave as he is happy at Chelsea and with the possibility of becoming Captain, he doesn’t want to leave. He is loved by the players, the staff and all the fans. I do not know one person who is a Chelsea fan that doesn’t like him.

Chelsea will wait until after Rio Ferdinand’s testimonial against Sevilla on 9 August to make a second offer for Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney. The Blues believe that a hostile reaction towards the England striker, 27, will boost the chances of United agreeing to sell

I found this in The Times. This is dirty tactics by Chelsea but it’s a clever move, look at when United where getting their PL Winners medals last season Rooney was booed the whole time he walked up to Sir Alex and when he received it. The fact this could be even worse when he plays next time may make him push for a move away from United and hopefully into Chelsea’s arms.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has lined up a raid on former club Real Madrid for Germany defensive midfielder Sami Khedira and are also looking at Roma’s Daniele De Rossi

I found this in the Daily Mirror. I don’t think Khedira is good enough he was bought to young by Real Madrid and didn’t have a chance to fully develop into a great player like he would have been able to do at Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to bring striker Didier Drogba, 35, back to Stamford Bridge as a player or coach

I found this in the Daily Express. He is not desperate, he just wants to bring Drogba home and turn him into a great coach for the young players to look up to.

Chelsea could take advantage of Real Madrid’s ongoing transfer saga with Spurs with a £20million offer for Sami Khedira.

I found this in the Metro. I don’t believe a word of this at all. I read this story on the way to work today (Wednesday) and it didn’t have any facts or a little bit of truth about it. I don’t really want him anyway not that great a player, seemed to have lost his way when he moved to Madrid.

Fernando Torres could be offered a way out of Chelsea with Valencia showing an interest with the immanent departure of their captain and star forward Roberto Saldado.

I found this in the Times. This is supposedly a very strong story in Spain. Valencia are going to offer Chelsea the money they get from selling Saldado reportedly only selling him for his release clause of £26million. I may sound a bit selfish here but I think this would be a good deal to agree to as he isn’t the £50million man we bought him for and I am happy to take a £24million loss as we have made up for that in shirt sales.

Pep Guardiola has denied that there is any interest in Chelsea Defender David Luiz saying that “He will not come to Munich, I do not know where this story has come from”

I found this in Sueddeutsche. This was in the gossip column on BBC website. Good as he is not going anywhere he is our future Captain I believe. He is also not going to be let go for £34.5 million they will have to up their bid massively if we are going to sell him.

Real Sociedad could be a surprise destination for Josh McEachran next season with Spanish side confident of a Loan move for the Chelsea youngster.

I found this in the Daily Express. I could see this being a very beneficial move for Josh as he is a technical player not a physical one. He would benefit from playing some Spanish football and honing his passing and ball control skills out there. He knows a pass when he see’s one, with the help of Spanish football I could see him becoming that Deep-Lying playmaker we need.

Chelsea and United have come to an agreement with United over the price of Rooney at £35million. This transfer will go ahead as long as United make a marquee signing.

This is on quite a few website and in a few papers. Well this is interesting isn’t it, United have missed out on getting Felliani for £22million as the buyout clause on his contract has expired so now he’ll cost around £30million, and they supposedly want Baines as well. They are trying to sign Fabregas and are preparing a £35million offer for him. They are talking the talk but not actually doing anything about signing players, for this reason I can’t see this happening. We are close to agreeing personal terms though so that could be a good factor.

Lampard is a major doubt for England’s friendly against Scotland on 14th August with his achilles problem.

I found this in the Daily Telegraph. Didn’t know his injury had flaired up again last I heard he was going to be playing on Saturday against AC Milan and this was just after the Inter game.
