Manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly going to block any attempts made by Barcelona to lure the Belgian goalkeeper, currently on loan at Atletico Madrid. Courtois has been heavily linked with a move to the Catalan side once his loan spell expires but Jose is not willing to let arguably the best young goalkeeper in the world go of.

Courtois has been on loan at Atletico Madrid for 3 years and his contract at Chelsea ends in June 2016 but Jose is desperate to keep hold of the Belgian as he sees him as a replacement for Petr Cech.

Barca’s director of Football Andoni Zubizarreta has already been in contact with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen but Courtois is reportedly a top priority. Barca is in hunt for a new shot stopper with Victor Valdes almost certainly leaving the Catalans at the end of the season.
