Just A Scenario #8 (Demba Ba’s future)

Image
It is the 20th of June, and the Chelsea board has just notified Jose Mourinho that they have receive d multiple bids for Chelsea striker Demba Ba, and that if he decides to wait any longer that the interested clubs might lose interest and go for another player. Here are the options that Jose Mourinho has for Demba Ba:
1) West Ham United – One season loan
2) Aston Villa FC- 9m
3) Tottenham Hotspur FC- 14m
4) Villareal CF – 9m
5) Let him stay for another season
You are the senior advisor to Jose Mourinho, and needs to help him make a decision as soon as possible, with a sensible reasoning that is.
The Idea of ‘Just A Scenario(JAS)’ is that you will be presented with a hypothetical situation or a role that you could picture yourself in, and we would love to hear what you would do so as to get through the situation in the best possible way.
Your opinions and ideas are valuable to us, and we’ll love to see this section grow as much as it can.
Cheers!

  1. 4, as I wouldn’t sell to rivals! Or let him stay another season, useful back up striker.

    WE NEED HIM

In my view, I’d say we give Ba another season to prove his worth. He has played for us only for 5 for months and in these 5 months span, he had an injury too(against New castle). We know he has the killer instinct of scoring wonder goals. He showed it against both the Manchester clubs(F.A cup) ktbffh!!!

  4. Well, selling him or retaining him depend on who is available. We need @ least 3strikers for dis campaign n currently, we only hav 2 in ba n torres. If mourinho is recalling back lukaku n I dn’t knw if andre schurre is a striker else, let him sell to spurs for 14m cos dats about 7million profit since he was bough for 7m but if we dn’t hav much plans of buying anymore strikers, I think we shuld giv him another chance of proving himself for a full season under mourinho.

I prefer option 5!we should not think of selling him.Lukaku,ba and the other one whom we are buying in this transfer window should be our 3 strikers in the squad.

    14 million for ba…. that will be good business… making 7 million in 6 months… go ahead…

If Chelsea is gauranteed Robert Liwandowski deal then there is every reason to sell Ba & keep Torres & Lukaku. There is no need to keep 4 strikers orderwise it will be a waste of resourse. All all them cann’t play 1st team. There must always be bench Warmers.

  8. SAMWEL MWAURA @KENYA

let him stay for 1 more season.. let him settle and we will see his potentials

  9. let him stay for another year or sell him to villareal.

let give demba ba a chance under jose mourinho i belive he will be better dis season.we can see some teriffic goals he use to score better than torres, let liv ba, torres, bring back lukaku, kdb and sign cavani befor he is snach from us again.tnx.
