Kevin De Bruyne on the radar of Dortmund and Leverkusen.

The much talked uncertain future of our Belgian midfielder De Bruyne has taken another turn with the player’s agent claiming that many German clubs are interested in signing his client. Kevin’s agent Patrick De Koster has said that,

“I will fly to London next week to find a solution with Chelsea. Should Kevin be allowed to leave, I will call [Bayer Leverkusen manager] Michael Reschke within 30 minutes. We have an excellent relationship.

Dortmund, Gladbach, Schalke and Wolfsburg have also been in touch with me. Kevin will take a look at where is best for him.”

De Bruyne clearly needs more first team action as his National team coach Marc Wilmots has hinted that his place in the WC could be in danger if he keeps on getting benched each passing week. Eden Hazard publicly saying Kevin should consider moving away from the club  in order to get more minutes speaks for itself.

KDB has been out of favor.
KDB has been out of favor.

The last time Kevin featured for us in the EPL was against Manchester United in the month of August.

Despite scoring 10 times, assisting nine times while being on loan with Werder Bremen and being the main man for Belgium in the WC 2014 qualifiers , all Kevin has got this season with the Blues is mere 4 starts and 8 games in all to play and since November, he has managed to get only 18 minutes of first team football. Even though Jose Mourinho has apologised to the player for not giving him opportunities to showcase his talent and assuring that KDB will get more playing time in the future ; but his assurances might not be enough to make Kevin stay at the Bridge post January.

It’s in the best interest of both the club and De Bruyne to leave Chelsea as there is hardly any chance for him to break in the XI regularly at least this season.

Should he leave?

What do you think of this situation? Should he leave or trust Jose to give him chances ?
