Chelsea once again take on AC Milan tomorrow night after last weeks convincing 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge. Milan are looking to take revenge from last weeks fixture as Stefano Pioli’s side looks to secure a top two finish. Whilst all three teams are still in the hunt for the knockout stage, there’s no room for mistakes expecially now that points are worth more than gold.
However, there’s a lot still to play for from both sides as pride, honor and reputation is at stake. Milan’s performance at the bridge must be better than the fight they gave Chelsea last week, a rather porous performance from the Italian champions.
Chelsea are on a scintillating run of form at the moment. If anything, Stefano Pioli’s men must give a better account of themselves to stop them on their strides, something close or more than the character they showed against Juventus might be enough. While they hope Chelsea don’t turn the heat up at the San siro, Milan must hunt with courage to salvage anything at all.
Chelsea Team news :
Chelsea are coming into this game on the back of a 3 straight win against Crystal Palace, AC Milan and Wolves. The only new injury concerns is Hakim Ziyech who was absent in the latest Chelsea training alongside Ngolo Kante and Wesley Fofana.
Ziyech who came on in the closing stages of the win against Wolves looks set to miss the trip to Milan alongside Kante and Fofana. Meanwhile, Edouard Mendy is fit and ready enough to compete with the in form Kepa in goal, Potter will be hoping the Spaniard continues his fine display to dent Milan’s hope of leapfrogging the London club in the group.
AC Milan Team news :
Milan’s injury list hasn’t had the time it needs to subside to their favor. An injury crisis that includes first choice goalkeeper Mike Maignan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Saelemaekers, Calabria, De Ketelaere and Alessandro Florenzi. De Ketelaere who only just joined the long list sustained a minor muscleinjury and is likely to miss the game as well.
The only notable recovery is that of explosive left back Theo Hernandez. The host were boosted by the return of the left back against Juventus as the France international looks set to feature against the blues.

My preferred line up : Chelsea (3-4-3) Kepa, Chalobah, Silva, Koulibally, James, Loftus Cheek, Kovacic, Chilwell, Mason Mount, Sterling, Aubamayang.
Score prediction : AC Milan 1-2 Chelsea
Chelsea have proven in recent weeks that they are capable of getting the job done. Potter’s appointment has ignited old flames in some of the key players like Thiago Silva, Mount, James among others, a flame that looks to be spreading in and around the team quite rapidly.
However, there’s no denying they won’t put up a fight against Milan, if Milan are planning a siege, it better be strong enough to tame soldiers who are fighting to be key members under the guidance of their new manager Graham Potter.
