Chelsea FC fans have been left deflated after a shocking performance from the referee Chris Foy which gave Aston Villa a valuable victory. Foy, sent Willian and Ramires off and he also dismissed Mourinho to the stands. Both bookings were extremely harsh. A neat finish from Fabian Delph ensured the three points for Paul Lambert’s side.
The first chance of the game fell to Willian in the thirteenth minute, Oscar’s cross couldn’t find Fernando Torres. Willian recieved the ball but his shot rattled the side netting.
The first yellow card of the game was handed to Willian who fouled Al Ahmadi, after his header reached the Villa player.
After a poor first opening 40 minutes the game was sparked into life with a disallowed goal. Willian’s cross which was met by Terry reached Nemanja Matic. The Serbian controlled the ball and squeezed it past Guzan and into the Villa goal. Chris Foy awarded the goal, however he backtracked on his original decision and deemed that the ball struck Matic’s hand.

Following a missed opportunity by Chelsea Aston Villa broke on the counter through Weimann, he pulled the ball back to Benteke who’s curling effort was agonizingly wide.
Moments later came the moment that doomed Chelsea and handed an advantage to Aston Villa. Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Willian, he was tracking Delph and slightly nudged him. Yes it was a foul however it was no way near a yellow card offence. Chris Foy’s poor officiating left the Blues in despair.
On the 82nd minute Aston Villa were ahead. Marc Albrighton played a wonderful cross to Delph who fantastically flicked the ball past the reach of Cech.
Christian Benteke almost doubled Villa’s lead with only a minute of normal time left. The Belgian hit a thunderous strike which was beaten away well by Petr Cech.
Villa were handed another Chance moments later. Delph was completely fred on the left but Cech managed to divert his effort on to the crossbar.
Yet another controversial moment in the game arose in the last minute of injury time. Ramires appeard to jump in on Ahmadi after he was dispossessed. Mourinho walked onto the pitch to contest the decision but he was also dismissed by Chris Foy.
Can’t fault the players for this. It was a bad day at the office. Pls can someone tell me, does this mean that willian is suspended against arsenal?? Torres was disappointing. Asides that, I think we will be fine. We most likely won’t win the league again but there is always nxt season. Ramires red card was well deserved. Yu can’t stomp a player’s leg like that. That was veery dangerous. The same thing he did to gotze in the super cup. Rami gets carried away easily. Well at least, its sure we will get to see the matic-luiz pivot

Agreed 100%. Ramirez has not had a good match in a long time. Matic and Luiz together will be amazing. With Cahill and Terry behind them, we have real dominance in the back 2/3. I’m not sure why Mou doesn’t see it.
Wow I must confess you make some very tranehcnt points.
The only reason Torres continue to play at Chelsea is Abramovich. Again to day he dindnt bring anything: give the ball away, fell on ground like a baby, no a single target shoot. For a striker, it is a miserable, for us, it is a long bad week. How in world we continue to put Torres upfront. Our mildfieders will not always save chelsea. The striker has to score. Simple like that.
Likewise, we have shruule but Mou insists with Oscar who has been very very very poor. Mou will cost us the tiltle because he is a stubborn man. This physic game needs Ba upfront but Mou cannot understand what everyone see. Shame
If the team couldn’t get the positives inside 70 mins of frustration, why then keep Ba, Shurrle up late and not Salah, Mikel at least for a point to take back instead of trial and error with Ramires – Matic partnership. I think the line up is primarily the issue.

Believing & selecting misfiring Torres insteady of playing with Eto is z first fault for our defeat. Torres is selected for only enjoy playing not to score. He accept scorring is z duty of other players. If Eto was given a chance to play this match, he ‘d scored at least 2. Jose took z defeat responsibility. Why Eto out? B/c of last match old man celebration?? No single target attempt by Torres but he simply run here & there. Why z booked William not substituted in steady of Oscar? Why Schurrle not start? Why Ramaris accostomes doing a tackle his habit? Our chance to title win ends with this game faults. Am disappointing z great performance of players like Haz ends without a single trophy.
I think it is high time we sell Torres this summer. We should consider Demba ba instead of Torres in MATCHES while Torres comes in. Three things caused us the points against Villa. Mourinho substitutions were bad. Some players did not live up to expectations and the last but not the least is awful officiating, the man in the middle.

The only point I don’t agree is when you say that “Matic-luiz is not our best pivot”. The reality is that Ramires doesn’t bring nothing when we play against DEFENSIVE TEAM because Rami doesn’t have the space to impress himself.
Yesterday’s defeat was so hurting. We are beating top teams and against mid table teams we are struggling to find the net. But one defeat we cannot blame jose all of a sudden after all he is our boss. May be there are orders from abra that torres should be picked frequently.One thing i want to tell openly is torres is an absolute failure at chelsea. Ramires has been poor this season he can’t even create a moment of brilliance always scrappy with his first touches..we need classy midfielders like guarin,khedira,veratti,moutinho,vidal etc and FERNANDO TORRES my my my that guy even knows he is a flop!!
