Chelsea are out of the FA cup following an action packed yet controversial 90 minutes at the home of English football, Wembley. Despite a wonder goal from Demba Ba we still couldn’t mange to overcome City. We should have had penalty when Vincent Kompany grabbed and tugged the shirt of in-form striker Fernando Torres. Also city should have reduced two ten men when Sergio Aguero shockingly lunged in at David Luiz with two feet. But a terrible performance by referee Chris Foy ensured City’s place in this year’s final.
Without a doubt it was a very lively start and Petr Cech was called to make a string of fantastic saves from Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero. City continued to dominate with their electric counter-attacks.
However after the twentieth minute the blues started to get into the game. We nearly took the lead when Hazard’s clever half volley leaped over everyone in City’s box only to be headed to safety by City captain Vincent Kompany.
Alternatively it was City who took the lead when Samir Nasri’attempted pass ricocheted off Cesar Azpilicueta and the ball fell back into his path, from a couple of yards out the Frenchman was not going to miss. 1-0 at half.
The blues’ start to second half was a nightmare. A relatively simple ball manged to baffle our whole defence and it was expertly guided into the net by the head of Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero.
Following a spell of chances which fell the way of Manchester City, Rafa could see that a change was needed. The introduction of Fernando Torres had a huge effect on the game. The Spaniard’s run confused city’s defence and allowed Ba more space to unleash his brilliant effort. The former toon striker manged to flick the ball into the air and immaculately volleyed the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal.
That moment of brilliance certainly ignited hope into our play. Demba Ba came close again only to be denied by an amazing save from Romanian goalkeeper Pantilamon.
With only ten minutes left on the clock every blue on the planet was outraged when they saw Sergio Aguero aggressively lunging in at David Luiz with two feet. I’m sure the Brazillian Argentina rivalry was present when Sergio Aguero aggressively jumped in at Luiz. Without a shadow of a doubt he should have walked for an early bath. It was a disgusting challenge and one the FA should look at with a very close eye.
Shortly after we were outraged again when Vincent Kompany grabbed hold of Torres shirt and fiercely tugged it. But yet again nothing was given and we were left holding our heads with despair.
So we now have to turn our attention to the Premier League Wednesday! Lets hope that the referee will be a little less bias. KTBFFH

looks like man city bought what they thought was the winning formula. if money cant winthem matches through players, it certainly will through refs. all refs in manchester.
Most Manchester clubs win all the major trophies in England.It’s becoming unbearable this days the way ref in England officiate during games involving the Manchester clubs esp Chelsea.That Aguero’s double footed tackle on Liuz was glaring enough for the Lineman to see if Foy makes the excuse of not seeing from distance because of his ageing.It’s happened right there on the touchline.As for Kompany on Torres,i wouldn’t blame the ref because Torres was standing firm on his feet.He never attempted to at least take a dive.
Let us talk about the referee as if we did nothing wrong. In short we we gave Yaya yards of space and he distroyed us.
