Chelsea Star, Michael Essien, has ruled out reports claiming he had a rift with Jose Mourinho which has led to him, being on the bench
It could be re-called, that the Ghanian International have not sealed a place in the first team and reports have been flying around the media that he must have had a rift with Jose.
Essien, who was on a season-long loan at Real Madrid last term, has made just two appearances in the Capital One Cup for the Blues since he and Mourinho returned to west London.
He Believes, He Just Needs to work hard and he’s time will come.
Speaking In An Interview, ahead of the World Cup Qualifier against Egypt he said:
“I am not worried to sit on the bench at Chelsea,” the 30-year-old told Accra-basedAsempa FM. “I am an experienced player to cope with this situation.
“I will continue with my hard work and training and I hope my time will come to start games for Chelsea.”
When asked whether Mourinho had ever advised him against turning out for his country, Essien replied: “Never. I am going on well with Mourinho.
There is no problem. This is not true. Mourinho has never asked me not to play for Ghana.”

Jose mourinho I wana tell you something yr line up team of Chelsea will not work well with out mata and mikel obi.Remeires he can’t play well midfield holder as mikel obi and Oscar can’t take ,number 10 as mata
you seem to love poor players. mata is not even close to oscar. he can’t even make it into the spain national team. obi is slow and not tough.
@ anonymous where is oscar & jose when cfc won champions league.again the same slow mikel was a cfc regular under di matteo’s team that won the champions league.so calling mata & mikel poor players simply means you are a jose fan & not a cfc fan.tank u.
Let us give any body that er coach select a support nd pray 4 the team if u er a true chelsea fans thank u
we should never under estimate a player. when i see stupid comment about Mikel Obi,Juan Mata etc, i just consider these people as non football fans who claim to love the game.
