Mourinho – Man Of His Words

Jose
Jose Mourinho once again, proved why he is the boss and has the final authority. The Portuguese had been criticized previously over his altitude towards his players. It could be recalled that after the loss at St James Park, He spoke to the media on how he made 11 mistakes and why his team deserved to loose.

It went down the spine of every chelsea fan because, Mourinho is always a man of his words. For him to criticize your performance, then your place is at stake.

It was then confirmed, after the line-ups against Schalke 04 were out as we saw various changes

Starting 11: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Mikel; Schurrle, Oscar,Willian; Eto’o

You have seen the lineup, the boss makes a big statement. Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and David Luiz were all dropped.

As Jose used a team of hungry players to beat out the result

One could have asked, What Happened to Hazard when he isn’t injured. Hazard did not report to Cobham on Monday and was subsequently not named as a starter or a substitute in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Schalke on Wednesday evening.

Anyways after the game, Jose discussed why Hazard didn’t play insisting he missed a training session.

“I don’t want to lie. He is not injured.

“Did he forget the time? Look, he’s a kid. Kids make mistakes and fathers have to be clever in the way they educate their sons.

“He didn’t play. He wanted to play. He was sad because he didn’t play. We won without him.”

Mourinho has confirmed Hazard will return for the club’s fixture against West Brom on Saturday.

“On Saturday [against West Brom], he is back. So, end of story,” said Mourinho.

“Let’s forget Eden because I didn’t select him and, on Saturday, he will be with the team. We know his talent. He will be on the bench or playing, but he will be in the squad, for sure.”

Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard had a bad game against Newcastle and Jose Mourinho responded by dropping the England duo and starting Mikel and Ramires.

While Cesar Azplicueta who is a right back, filling cole’s shoes.

Alot of Fans, Criticized Mourinho for dropping some set of his best players, another thought aslo insisted, he wanted to send a message to those players that they must step on their games.

Jose Mourinho’s target is just to ensure everyone steps up their game and prove why we are serious title contenders.‪‬

thank you Jose. Sell any player you wish, as far as you give us the result required. If am to sale, i will sale David Luiz first, his mind seems to be set on Barcelona. Start any body you wish, but not Lampard, he acts like a locomotive train. 35 yrs is not 25 yrs.

  2. This is what villa boaz did that led to his sack and also di matteo. This tells us a kind of brilliant a coach mou is. He changed atleast five players and the team went on to win. This is great. Sell anyone that’s sellable.

    • Um… Excuse me, but as I remember it, Roberto Di Matteo was FIRED for having the balls not to pick an under-performing Torres. He got us playing some of the most stylish football the Bridge has seen in a looooong, long time and he integrated the club’s new signings seamlessly, setting up a base for future managers. If he’d been given a better striker and if our players hadn’t made so many early mistakes, he wouldn’t have gotten the sack so fast. Truth is, he was playing the owner’s game and winning at it, but when the demands became too much he faced them like a man and DESERVEDLY dropped Torres.

But, yeah, Jose Mourinho is the best, and I’ve waited 6 years for him to come back!!!

RDM was fired because Che;sea were playing like complete shit at that time. A 3-0 lost away was just the final straw. Everyone always blames Torres for all the bad things that happen, but he is not the entire team. Using him as a scapegoat does not justify a top team performing badly.

I think, jose is the best coach for Chelsea. Too much ego at Chelsea, so we need a strong manager to get the best of our player.

  6. Neri Abayomi

Jose is a coach that is a no respecter of any superstars. At last, the veil over his face concerning Lampard’s continual starting berth was lifted after the rude awakening at St James Park.

Jose is said to be the best manager, then I expect him to get the best out of all the players including Mata, Luiz, KDB etc. If we sell, we only get weaker.

It was nice seeing Eto’o and Ba on the scoresheet. Nobody is bigger than Jose, Hazard learn that quickly.

  7. thanks mourinho we trust in you but please don’t start again lampard Mikel is better than him

  8. Jose the Wiz, Lampard the menace, CFc forever!

  9. Mourinho is not messing around and I like it. He’s the Boss.

As for David Luiz, sell him. I’ll even help him pack, and give him a ride to the airport.

  10. bazza 1905

Yes he is a good , he speaks to his players from altitude .like if you agree

  11. i think we need another talent in our central/defending midfield, Ramires is very good but he’s getting older, as for mikel and essien, they are average, so we need someone young with the same qualities as ramires/lampard, which i think we can find in Wilshere. i really think he’d be a big win for our team

    • @ thomas if mikel is average, then lampard is what.i remember madrid selling makalele bcos they felt he is average.is easy 2 get good attacking midfielders than good cdm & mikel is good, but hatred can blind a man from appreciating something good in another pers@ thomas if mikel is average, then lampard is what.i remember madrid selling makalele bcos they felt he is average.is easy 2 get good attacking midfielders than good cdm & mikel is good, but hatred can blind a man from appreciating something good in another pers@ thomas if mikel is average, then lampard is what.i remember madrid selling makalele bcos they felt he is average.is easy 2 get good attacking midfielders than good cdm & mikel is good, but hatred can blind a man from appreciating something good in another pers@ thomas if mikel is average, then lampard is what.i remember madrid selling makalele bcos they felt he is average.is easy 2 get good attacking midfielders than good cdm & mikel is good, but hatred can blind a man from appreciating something good in another person.

    • i dont understand why you say mikel is average, all manager who he has worked with has always prefered him, i will like quickly to point to you that he is very discipline, and plays strictly to instruction and that is why managers prefer him, give a mikel the mandate to move forward, then you will see an attacking player he is, which truely he is

    • As 4 lampard he is neither a cdm nor a deep lying passer.he is just an attacking midfielder.so 2 get the best from him, play him up front sparinly.let mikel, rami, ginkel, essien handle the pivot.

    • WTF 26years old you think he is older??? So what about Lampard then? Mayb u want as too under 18 guys right?

  12. wooow, first of all I made a terrible mistake in my sentence, when i said older i was talking about lampard not ramires, my apologies

second, i know lampard is no cdm/cm player but with the attacking talent we have and his age he won’t be positioned that much as an attacking midfielder but more as cm/cdm
Mikel may be a hard worker and does what he is supposed to do, but in my opinion i think he hasn’t something extra/creative to bring in the team, he just does what he has to do

essien is 30 and yes, in my opinion, average, as for Van Ginkel, young and talented, but far from ready to deserve a place in the first team, that’s why i think we still need a talented younger player in cdm/cm, but more skilled than Van Ginkel, that’s why I’d like Wilshere to join, in my opinion he’d be a perfect addition to the team, ramires and wilshere would be magic, and you have to admit he plays very well

    • Anonymous

Why would arsenal sell wilshere? Why would wilshere want to leave arsenal? You’re out of your mind. Plus wilshere is not the kind of player we need, we need a strong BIG defensive midfielder like Nemanja Matic, Pogba or Khedira. We already have enough creativity in the team. We need someone who can stand up to Yaya Toure and bully other teams midfield

  13. I think he is doing the right thing, JM is more in building the identities of new ChelseaFC, not winnings silverware.. He’s in the right path #KTBFFH

  14. Wilshere is not a cdm/dm,but a deep lying passer exampl pirlo, alonso, marco cenna & rami is a box 2 box midfielder exampl patric viera, gerrard, yaya toure.mikel is a cdm example makalele, basquet, fernandinho, roy keane, gilberto silva, gattuso.even man united hav yet 2 find a good cdm becaus they are very scarce.they are players that sacrific self glory & desire 2 attack just 2 maintain team stability & balance.they also mix ruggedness with discipline.so i stil believe mikel/rami is perfect 4 chelsea.2 be a good cdm, skil is les requird,it requires also strengt & tenacity.tank u.

  15. I truly believe Jose M, made a wise decision, it gave the players on the bench food for thought, not to take their status for granted, either you give it a 1000% or you out! They do not get paid the kind of money they earn for no apparent reason, we the supporters deserve the best, they are rich because of us, never they for get that. You have to a times be cruel to be kind. He proved that fact against Schalke. Well done Jose, I applaud you!

  16. All this talk of buying Wilshere , Khedhira etc why folk out some money when we have the solutions right in our midst?
    1) LET’S CHANGE OUR MENTALLITY AS FANS ESPECIALLY
Makelele is Makelele just like how Drogba is Drogba so there is one and only one Makelele so there will never be a direct replacement for
Makelele the sooner with get over that the better.
    2) LET’S MAKE DO WITH WHAT WE HAVE AND TRY TO IMPROVE THAT
The reason why the likes of Drogba and Makelele flourished and are so revered is because the team played to their strength so why not do the same with the players we have right now Mikel, Lampard, Ramires and co.
    3)LET’S APPRICIATE WHAT WE HAVE
Mikel would walk straight up in the first teams of many of our EPL rivals, we just have to find the right way to use him to the maximum of his ability. Spare a thought for the reason why Mou didn’t sell Ba to Arsenal!? He might be sh*t right now but he knew if Wenger were to find the right way to use him he would be unstoppable. We don’t want another Robben
4)WHAT ABOUT THE YOUNG PLAYERS COMING THROUGH
Oriol Romeu*, Nathan Chalobah, Josh McEachran,MvG why can’t we do what Man You did with Cleveley, Arsenal with Wilshere , Liverpool with Sterling
    I don’t that’s my thoughts

  17. Mourinho this year isn’t as good as he was back in his 1st half career of chelsea, he is making too many changes in the team, he is not giving any player time to settle in the teams play. And this season we see the result of it, there no spark in our game, there is no actual team chemistry, he criticised hazard in the beginning of this week, I think hazard is a great player and instead of criticising, he needs some encouragement. He certainly has the potential to do better and I hope he will settle as early as possible. We ought to finish in top 4 …
