Oscar injury report

Oscar injury

Oscar has become the latest Chelsea midfielder to hand the club an injury scare after picking up a knock on his ankle in training on international duty with Brazil.
The 21-year-old sustained the injury in a clash with fellow midfielder Hernanes during Friday’s session and faces a race against time to be fit for the friendly against Australia on Sunday.
Oscar’s woe comes hot on the heels of Eden Hazard hobbling out of training with Belgium and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be keeping a close eye on developments.
Oscar’s injury will be monitored over the next 24 hours, with a decision on his availability made after that period, while Hazard insisted he would be fit to face Scotland at Hampden.
However, now looks like missing the game after wincing in discomfort, barely 20 minutes into the session, and leaving the Hampden pitch.
Eden Hazard picked up similar injury on his leg after he pulled off training for Belgium ahead of a World Cup qualifier. Brazil aren’t playing any WCQ matches as they are in to the tournament as hosts next summer.
Let’s hope it’s nothing serious and the player gets back to training right away when he is back from international duty.
Comment your well wishes for Oscar and Hazard as well who both are one of the starting players in Jose Mourinho’s line-up. Thanks for reading and follow me @FahmiCFC for more things CFC. KTBFFH!
