Player ratings: Chelsea win again at three point lane!

Normal service resumes as Chelsea come back from 2-0 down to win 4-3 away at Spurs.

After a horror show of an opening 10 minutes, eventually we grabbed ahold of the game and, in my view, deservingly won the game.

Robert Sanchez – 5

Poor. Very questionable for Spurs’ second goal and gave the ball away countless times in the first half which led to the game being played in the erratic nature that Spurs looked like they wanted.

Moises Caicedo – 7

Had a really tough first half and arguably, should’ve been sent off. However, in the second half when he moved into midfield it felt like he had good control over the game. We really improved.

Benoit Badiashile – 5

Poor today certainly in the first half, though did improve to a degree in the second. Gave the ball away and I think struggled with playing on the right of a two man pairing.

Levi Colwill – 6

Not his best day either and was partly at fault for the Spurs opener. However I felt he was the better of the two central defenders.

Marc Cucurella – 6

Had a woeful first 11 minutes but improved gradually. All I can say, is thank goodness he changed boots!

Romeo Lavia – 7

Only played 45 minutes but he was our best player throughout that period of the game for me. Several times he completely fooled the Spurs press, turning his marker and setting us away. I think he only came off due to his yellow.

Enzo Fernandez – 8

A glorious second half topped off with a stunning goal to give us the lead. It felt like he really helped us take control of the game in the second half and he was just superb today. Having a fantastic few weeks.

Pedro Neto – 5

Ineffective I thought. I don’t quite feel like we got him into the game enough, which did make our right hand side quite weak.

Cole Palmer – 9

Two fantastic penalties, and a quite exquisite run that led to Enzo Fernandez’s goal. We all wanted him to deliver in a big game and today he did. What a player we have, and easily one of the best in the league.

Jadon Sancho – 7

Dragged us back into it after an awful start. Saw Caicedo’s run for our first penalty, a great game he had. Really starting to deliver now and two goals in two is superb!

Nicolas Jackson – 4

Maybe a four is harsh but he wasn’t even in the game today. Not really got a lot to say!
