Player ratings: Cole Palmer drops masterclass in crazy victory against Manchester United

Djordje Petrovic – 4

Three conceded, hardly a convincing performance across the board from him, even with his distribution again.

Malo Gusto – 6

The best of a shocking back four. Fairly lively early on but not great since.

Axel Disasi – 3

Embarrassing. Not much else to say.

Benoit Badiashile – 4

Poor again alongside Disasi, caught out flat footed from Caicedo’s horrific pass for United’s first. Awful.

Marc Cucurella – 4

Allowed Antony his best game of the season, maybe his best in a United shirt? That’s hardly excusable.

Moises Caicedo – 5

Really poor, a catalyst for United’s wi….loss! His performance was shaky, he looked nervous and made some bad decisions.

Conor Gallagher – 7

Not too bad, started the game off with a goal and was at best okay throughout the game. Not many complaints.

Enzo Fernandez – 6

Not wonderful again, a very average, middle of the park performance.

Cole Palmer – 10

A hat-trick, our main man, just outright PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!

Mykhailo Mudryk – 6l7

Very lively, involved in quite a lot and it felt like another step forward of a performance.

Nicolas Jackson – 5

Fairly quiet by his standards, not a wonderful performance all in all.

Mauricio Pochettino – 4

Tactically shocking, we were again too open and handed United a very near three points. Saved by Palmer.

Noni Madueke – 7

Bright, won the penalty for our third. Positive.

Alfie Gilchrist – N/A

Trevoh Chalobah – N/A

Raheem Sterling – N/A

Carney Chukwuemeka – N/A
