Norwich City
John Ruddy:  5.0
Often failed to win against Demba Ba in the first half. Was at fault for Chelsea’s second goal as he could have done much better with his reflexes.
Russell Martin:  6.0
Manged to keep the play away from Schürrle. Dealt with Schürrle well when he was on ball as well. Overall a solid display.
Michael Turner:  5.5
Outmuscled by Demba Ba in the first half. Had a relatively better second half. Lost the aerial duals often.
Sebastian Bassong:  5.5
Better of the the two centre backs but still, he found it hard to manage Demba Ba in the first half. Caught out of position for the second Chelsea goal.
Martin Olsson:  5.5
It was hard for him to deal with Mata and Oscar but he did an ok job. Went forward often.
Robert Snodgrass:  6.0
He was trying hard to get something out of the game. Did well at times when on ball. Had an opportunity to score himself but it was swing and miss as he fell down in the box.
Anthony Pilkington:  6.5
Ivanovic had him silenced in the first half but improved in the second and scored the goal which frustrated Chelsea.
Jonny Howson:  6.0
One of the better Norwich midfielders.  He a a huge chance in the first half but Cech had done well to stop him from scoring.
Alexander Tettey:  5.0
He failed to clear the long ball from Oscar as Hazard capitalised on his mistake to score the winner. His horrible mistake cost Norwich the game.
Leroy Fer:  7.0
Best Norwich player of the day. Ran tirelessly and worked hard the entire game. Resisted the Chelsea attack and opened up play whenever he could.
Rickie van Wolfswinkel:  6.0
Assisted the goal and was tring to create something but he could do very little.
Substitutes
Gary Hooper:  5.5
Came on for Wolfswinkel but nevr really got in to the game as Chelsea were pressing for a winner.
Nathan Redmond :  N/A
Came on for 9 minutes. Impressive in his little cameo.
Chelsea FC
Petr Cech:  6.0
He could have done better for the goal conceded but may be the sun made it much difficult for him than it looked. Made a brilliant save in the first half.
Branislav Ivanovic:  7.0
Very solid defensively, keeping his form from the previous games. Also, he had a decent game offensively.
David Luiz:  6.5
He had a brilliant first half, both defensively and offensively but was poor in the second half. He should have done better with the goal conceded.
John Terry:  7.0
Terry had a brilliant evening. Made important clearances and interceptions throughout the game. Very solid display.
Ashley Cole:  5.0
Just as everyone thought he was getting back his form, he came up with with a poor showing. Too many mispasses and looked confused when on ball. Went off on 74th minute as he injured his ribs.
Ramires:  7.5
Non stop engine of the Chelsea midfield. An integral part. Made quite a few important tackles. He might have been lucky he was not penalised for fouling Pilkington in the box.
Frank Lampard:  6.0
Good first half and comparatively poor second half. Looked more comfortable with long balls. It was his 35 meter long ball which found Ba on the edge of the box who in turn laid it off for Oscar to score Chelsea’s first. Even though he made some mispasses, his passing was generally good.
Juan Mata:  6.5
Started out on the right wing but exchanged positions at times with Oscar. Created most chances, including a clean ball to Ba in the first half. He wasn’t at his best anyways.
Oscar:  8.0
Man of the match. Worked tirelessly throughout the game going forward and tracking back. Score the goal with a beautiful finish and assisted the second goal which decided the game. Justifies Jose Mourinho’s favouritism.
Andre Schürrle:  5.5
He atarted of promisingly but after the start, he rarely had ball in his feet. Improved a bit in the second half but nit a performance everyone was expecting. Shifted to left back position after Chelsea scored the second goal as Cole was taken off before.
Demba Ba: 7.0
He was the most dangerous man in the first half. He made Ruddy’s life hard. He was very good in the air and was very composed. Assisted the first goal with a beautiful take and lay off. Went invisible in the second half.
Substitutes
Samuel Eto’o : 5.5
Looked selfish. It was by the follow through of his failed dribble, Willian latched on to score the third goal. Apart from that he couldn’t make any impact.
Eden Hazard: 7.5
Looked a completely different player from the recent games. Scored the goal that mattered as he capitaised on Tettey’s poor clearance and Ruddy’s poor reflexes. Looked lively throughout the 16 minutes he had been on the pitch.
Willian: N/A
Came on for 10 minutes to make his Premier League debut and scored a screamer of a goal. Didn’t had time for anything else.
Man of the match: Oscar. Showed brilliant workrate, scored the opening goal and assisted the winning goal.
Flop of the match: Alexander Tettey. Made a school boy error after getting on to Oscar’s long ball to Hazard which resulted in a goal when the scores were level.
