Shaping up for Next Season Part 3

In part 3 I am going to talk about our attacking trio. I am going to split them into 3 positions Left Attacking Midfield (LAM), Right Attacking Midfield(RAM) and Central Attacking Midfield(CAM). We have players who can fill these positions in fully and effectively.

Left Attacking Midfield
In the LAM position we have a few candidates:

Eden Hazard
Probably our starter if fit and not tired. Hazard has made that position his own and held that starting spot throughout the season giving stronger and stronger displays and has built a very solid, good working partnership with Mata and Oscar but Oscar having stuttered a bit. Hazard gives pace, precission and skill to that left side making teams worry about what he will do next.

Marko Marin
The German Messi and I still believe he can earn this name back he just has to find his form again. He is clever in his play as he does not have an abundance of pace but is very agile and skillful and really does make a defence stretch and create gaps for others to exploit. He is good on the ball and can cross really well.

Kevin De Bruyne
The Belgium winger can play in the CAM role as well but favours to be out wide as he gets to see the attack and how he can influence it from his position better. Great vision, passing ability and has some skills. KDB is not the faster player in the world but is better at link up play and assisting rather than running past a player with pace and then crossing it in. He plays around the opposing instead making them frustrated and confused.

Lucas Piazon
The Brazillian player has the looks of a young Kaka and the same play style when Kaka was inform. He has pace, great technical ability and good link up play with other players. He glides past players with ease and can spot through balls and passes that a veteran playmaker would only just see and work out where to pass. He has a future and a bright one. He can play anywhere along the Trio which does help with our intracate link up play.

Right Attacking Midfield
We have a few candidates for RAM as well:

Oscar
Oscar for this season has been playing out wide on the right of the trio, he has great technical ability, great passing and vision with a fairly good shot on him (Juventus 2x, Nords) He is more of a CAM but he cannot really take it from Mata who is in blistering form atm so is playing on the right but he is playing well there and even though they are outstanding eye cathching ones he is playing well and learning the english game still.

Victor Moses
An outright winger Moses has pace, skill and is strong. he is a bit selfish though which can sometimes be a bad thing as he won’t pass it when it is best too, however it is sometimes good as he draws in more defenders leaving more space for teammates to go into and then he can pass and we ahve a shot on goal with the oppertunity to score.

Lucas Piazon
Same as before can play along the whole trio

Centre Attacking Midfield
We have one of the best NO. 10 in the world at the moment and have a few other decent CAM’s:

Juan Mata
The spainish magician is in the form of his life and if it wasn’t for him we would be a lot worse off this season. He if the central playmaker to our team and conducts it like and orchastra. He has passing, vision, skills, shooting ability and has a bit of pace about him. He keeps us ticking non-stop through games and we struggle when he doesn’t play.

Oscar
What I said above. he used to play in the CAM role for Internacional before moving to Chelsea.

Lucas Piazon
Played in the CAM role for youth team and like Mata for the 1st team kept the youth team ticking and without them they struggled to play.

As a Whole then
We have enough cover across the trio for injuries and fatigue. So bringing in someone would be worthless as we have enough cover and we cannot really improve on our players for the trio.

Left Attacking Midfield
In the LAM position we would have Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Marin

Centre Attacking Midfield
In the CAM position we would have Mata, Oscar and Piazon

Right Attacking Midfield
IN the RAM position we would have Oscar, Moses, Marin or Piazon

I know Piazon can play anywhere along the Trio but I can see him being used mainly in the CAM or RAM position as with playing on the Right and him being left footed he can cut in and curl a cross or a shot in. He can though run down the line and cross with his equally strong right foot.
