Sources have told LondonsFirst that Chelsea scouts were at the U20 World Cup final between Italy and Uruguay.

Scouts from a host of Europe’s biggest clubs were at the tournament looking for the next talents.

Chelsea have been busy, LondonsFirst exclusively revealed several weeks ago that our scouts had watched players including Federico Redondo, Luka Romero, Alex Scott, Marcos Leonardo and more.

LondonsFirst can now bring you information surrounding the final. Chelsea had three players they specifically watched, those were Fabricio Diaz, Sebastien Boselli and Franco Gonzalez, all from Uruguay.

On the agenda were Italians Tommaso Baldanzi and Simone Padundi whilst the scouts from West London also watched Cesare Casadei, bought last summer for £12.8m + £4.3m add ons.
