Sources insist Lukaku and Tuchel relationship is unlikely to be repaired

We’re back again with another update on Romelu Lukaku, this time it’s from David Ornstein who has released an article stating that Lukaku is thought to have established a healthy relationship with Boehly, still retains affection for Chelsea but that it’s very hard to see a way back while Tuchel is in charge.

Inter Milan are ready to cover all of Romelu Lukaku’s wages and the general concensous is a deal should be agreed.

Currently, the obstacle is that Chelsea are asking for players. None in specific have been mentioned but in previous days Chelsea have been linked with Stefan De Vrij and Denzel Dumfries.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that Inter do not want to include players, so this seems to be a typical backs against the wall negotiation and one side will eventually have to budge especially if these reports are true about the relationship between player and coach be unrepairable.

Interestingly, Matt Law from The Telegraph who is a Chelsea Tier 1 source, suggested yesterday that Todd Boehly had actually be convinced that letting Lukaku go was the right course of action. Sources often clash, and we await further clarification as to what will happen.

I will be speaking to Nathan Gissing tomorrow and we will chat more about Romelu Lukaku so keep an eye out on my Twitter page and follow CFC365 Podcast on Spotify
