A source has told ChelseaFC365 that residents near Stamford Bridge are unhappy with some of the plans laid out by Chelsea’s owners and fear the ground could become a “7 days a week nightclub”

Chelsea allegedly want to play live music indoors until 1am near the West Stand and also use the outdoor areas around Stamford Bridge to host gigs and films until 11pm. The alleged move has alarmed neighbours and businesses.

Some neighbours are trying to raise money to hire lawyers to help them fight the plans. More than £5,300 has been raised so far, said the source.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council are set to make a decision on the alleged plans of live entertainment on February 8.
