I have talked a long time that we cannot have just 3 strikers. Now Costa has been injured. We have only a useless Torres (and may be loaned out) and a 36 years old Drogba. We need at least 4 strikers as we have to play at several fronts. Now we can still loan out Torres but we have to buy one more striker and promote Bamford or Brown to play with our weaker opponents.
First of all, the length of costa’s injury hasn’t been confirmed. There are reports that he wld still face everton on saturday. Best Is to wait for mou’s press conference tomorrow. Having said that, it is important torres leaves and destro comes. I must confess I haven’t seen destro play but from the reports I hear, the bloke is decent plus he is pretty fast. I trust our medical team concerning costa’s injury.
