Upcoming EPL fixtures crucial in Chelsea’s title push

Mourinho instructins CFC stars

The Blues enjoyed an incredible month of October as we won all the games we played in EPL. That run put us 2nd in the EPL table just behind the flying gunners of Arsenal this season. Now, after a embarrassing loss at Newcastle and a lucky draw against West Brom, the Blues are sitting 4th within a point over Man Utd who are behind at 5th. Even Southampton are sitting in 3rd while Liverpool are 2nd.

The standings cannot really determine the top contenders come at the end of the season at this point. But, looking into the next fixtures in EPL, we can say that we are entering the crucial stage of the season where in previous seasons have hampered our title credentials. We can all remember how our promising start to previous season under Di Matteo was turned onto its back with a couple of losses against West Brom and Juventus leading the Champions League winning manager to be sacked and replaced by Benitez.

Our season took an immediate U-turn after wards as we went on a rather horrifying roller-coaster road and ending up with only the Europa League while there were 8 trophies were available at the beginning.

We surely can’t afford to experience and let that happen this upcoming month and also going into the boxing day fixtures that shapes up the season for every team in the league. A manager like Jose Mourinho won’t surely let what happened last season hamper our decent start to the season after all. We travel across the town over to Upton Park for this weekend’s clash against London rivals West Ham.

It surely won’t be a game Jose would like to undermine and we know what happened in the corresponding fixture the previous season when the hammers run out 3-1 victors coming from a goal behind to stun Rafa Benitez’s men. But now, Jose Mourinho’s men embark on a run of six league fixtures, which on paper suggest that they have an outstanding opportunity to get Chelsea’s title campaign back on track. The sequence, West Ham (a), Southampton (h), Sunderland (a), Stoke (a), Crystal Palace (h), Arsenal (a), with the exception of the Saints and Gunners’ games, features matches against sides currently in the bottom five of the table and the Blues will be expected to profit at their expense.

Unless we win and get three points from all or possibly most of the opponents we play in this run of fixtures, we will surely be in good place to challenge for the title come the end of the season. We must put every plan onto a success theory and Jose should stick to a balanced starting 11 that will help us dominate and close out oppositions to secure a comfortable win.

Also the strong squad we have this season when it comes to depth will help through this run of fixtures as we can call upon the likes of Juan Mata and David Luiz who really didn’t get much starting 11 chance as they had last season. It’s a new era under Jose Mourinho and every player must prove themselves to the Special one that they belong in the starting 11.

So, when Jose rotates around in certain games and different competitions, the players coming in will be hungry and eager to prove themselves. Competition in that sense is healthy for the team morale and winning mentality. Let’s hope the Blues embark on a great run of winning streak in the EPL and champions league starting from this weekend’s clash against West Ham. Thanks for reading and please let us know what you think.

De Bruyne leave the bridge before Jose ends your career prematurely.

With the way Jose is handling this squad, we are set to lose De Bruyne, Mata , Luiz and Courtois to other clubs, if his disposition doesn’t change.

He said it is a squad rotation but Cech, Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic, Cole, Lampard, Ramires, Hazard, Oscar are always so ever present. Leaving Azpi, Luiz, Bertrand, Mikel, Willian, Schurrle, Mata, De Bruyne on the brinks.Schwarzer Essien, Ba, Kalas Are not even in the team.

All these players are talented and should be used. Eto’o and Torres r used bcos Mou is still looking for A FALCAO to take their place. With this buying habit, Bertrand Traore, McEachran, Chalobah, Omeruo, Kalas, Ake, Bamford, Feruz, Piazon, Lukaku, Atsu, Aantholt, Wallace, Kane would never make the first team.
