Romelu Lukaku and Victor Moses will spend the remaining part of the season on loan at Everton and their arch rivals Liverpool respectively. The deal to take Lukaku to Goodson park was completed in the final hours of the transfer window after Everton sold Maroune Fellaini to Man Utd to then finally complete 3 signing of their own one being the loan deal for the Belgian. But, Victor Moses’ loan to Liverpool have been put in place by the time the Reds played against Man Utd at Anfield. That prompted the Nigerian and other of their late signings to watch their new team beat the Champions 1-0 by Daniel Sturridge goal.
So, the question to ponder at the moment is, how much impact will the transfer have on Chelsea, the players and what really expect come the end of the season. As any Chelsea fan has anticipated since the last hour of the window, we knew it would be Demba Ba to depart Stamford Bridge and head to Arsenal or other teams on loan or permanent move. But, Jose Mourinho reportedly blocked Ba’s loan deal to Arsenal as he thinks Arsene Wenger’s team as title challengers.
That’s a great move by Jose to block the move but, I was hoping it would be Ba being sold to either AS Roma or other team abroad. But, Mourinho to a much satisfaction of myself and others didn’t let the Senegalese to join our London rivals but, prompted him to stay. Instead we gave Lukaku, who is young and still fresh from the penalty disappointment against Munich depart on loan to Everton, who aren’t much of a scare for the top 4 places let alone being title challengers.
I knew nothing to expect about whether Moses would go out on loan or not till around the last week of the transfer window. By then some reports said the club are looking at clubs interested in having the Nigerian on loan for the season as a result of Chelsea capturing Willian under the noses of London rivals Tottenham. But, I never wanted Moses to join Liverpool on loan as he can be one of their top players this season to help them push for top 4 places. We are seeing how dangerous Brendan Rodgers’ team can be after the United win which sees them top the EPL table with 9 points out of the same possible number.
Really excited to be joining Liverpool this season and can't wait to make my debut now pic.twitter.com/1GFeZN6Nf8

Its been years since the Reds were seen at the top of the table for some time and we hope Moses wont really be a threat when they play against us and also he wont help them beat a lot of sides in their way to challenge for top 4. But, selflessly to the player and for us, it would be good to have Moses score few goals and be in their starting 11 to help cement his status in Nigeria’s national team ahead of the World Cup this summer.

The World Cup being in the horizon come the end of the season will mean a huge thing for both of this players and Lukaku will also want to challenge the impressive and dominant Christian Benteke for the starting spot of Belgium’s No. 9 role. Let’s wish both players good luck on their spells and hope they will return both rejuvenated and ready to challenge Jose’s starting 11 with huge confidence.
Tell us what you think about my opinion and what you expect out of this deals of Lukaku and Moses to the Mersyside of EPL. thanks for reading and you can follow me at @FahmiCFC on twitter for more things about CFC! ktbffh
Everton are undergoing construction now in their team. And i think, Lukaku is going there to lead the attack. He is a yound player that needs more experience and playing time. On Moses, after i watched Liverpool beat United 1-0, i concluded that moses is going to add a new spice to the team. Going to Liverpool makes him a player in the starting line-up Week in Week Out. I dont see anything wrong to play against their parent team except a clause was inserted that makes them unavaliable to play against their parent team. I wish them goodluck in their respective clubs ♥♥♥
Dude, mose and lukaku will not play against us when we meet any of these clubs.they are there to stifle United, city and weaken the teams when we play them.U feel me?.
Where is the wisdom in snding almost 23+ players on loan? Seriously we’r becoming a loaning club, you want any players but don’t have money come to Chelsea and you’d get one of the best talents.
Moses was one of our best attackers in the UEFA journey. I felt he just needed a bit more games. He gave us something different from all the other wingers and midfielders. He is direct fast can run past players and score goals. Big mistake for me and specially going to Liverpool, a team that we find it difficult to play in recent years.
Its all about the future, its buisiness, its money, buy them young, buy them cheap and if you dont like sell them for a profit, harsh but thats the game these days
Wat a gud idea
Demba ba should of been the one to leave.for a club such as chelsea which is re-building to once again become the premier club in england he simply isnt good enough.his greatest fall back is that he simply has not got pace and his first touch is abysmal.lukaku in my opinion is a quality young striker and i would of had no problems in giving him more game time.as for moses much the same as ba,he simply isnt good enough.if any of you truly believe that either kiverpool or everton are serious challengers to us in any shape or form, then you must all be knocking back the domestos !.
on loan players dnt play against their parent club@d article writer.take note pls.
d point I was trying to buttress exactly.football is more like chess games in ds modern age.u move ur chess. pieces to stall d opponents while d officers stay home n plot the kill!
there’s stl a positive in d loan scheme.I c Everyone claim 4points out of d possible 6 against ManU under Moyez.their nightmares just started wt d Liverpool defeat.RVP,Giggs,Valencia,Welbeck n Chicharito didn’t c d ball to play n RVP just managed to escape a red!
