Hey, guys I’ve got an article on our new boy Andre Schurrle and what could he offer to Chelsea. Our year long pursuit of the German winger Andre Schurrle appears to be coming to an end after both the clubs agreed a deal thought to be around £18 million.
Let’s not go with the stats and the raw facts and just have a look on what Schurrle is going to offer Chelsea?
Schurrle’s best position is as a left winger so he would most likely be used on the left-hand side of Chelsea’s attacking trident behind a main striker in the 4-2-3-1 formation.
The three spots behind the striker in our side already look impressive. We boast one of the best attacking units in the form of Juan Mata, Oscar and Eden Hazard.
It may seem a little weird, that we have invested a large amount of money in a position where we are already very blessed. Mata, Oscar and Hazard are all ideally suited to the formation and still have a lot of years ahead of them.
Schurrle can also operate as a lead striker but has had very limited success when played in that role so would likely only be drafted in if there were injuries to the likes of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba, Romelu Lukaku or any other new centre forward who arrives this summer.
Here’s a short video, which I found on Youtube:

According to me he could be a good signing as he’s a very versatile player but potentially he would not match to the standards of Eden Hazard.
But it would be a little harsh judging him before he’s even played his first competitive game for Chelsea. I want to know from you guys if you think this has been a good signing or not? And which position would like seeing him play at Chelsea?
Thanks for reading! 🙂

Saying Schurrle would not match up to Hazard is not justified at all. Schurrle is a player that can boast strength, aggression and pace, and then he can shoot. He could very easily become like Bale.
we never know what can happen and to what extent one can improve..look at bale starting from lb to turn into one of the most feared winger..nobody saw that coming..schurrle plays like ronaldo and bale; like to shoot from distance and drift from wide to attack but unlike the others he is not very clinical and he has the most off target shots in the bundesliga..but if he can improve his weakness in the coming seasons he can turn into a world class player..but hazard is already worldclass and with improvement he will be able to compete with the likes of ronaldo and messi
For what is have seen i would be more inclined to see KDB start than this guy he would have to come off the bench for me KDB looks to be a better striker of the ball and he would bring others into play more than schurrle, i would prefer KDB over him.
I love him to be the man in that front hazard mata oscar are their 4 him chelsea should try to land lawandoski or cavani in
